oh please! throw your garbage on the trash can and not on the ground...

how many among in us here do the throwing of garbage on the trash can or just messing our surroundings with small candy and food wrappers, cigarette butts, plastic bottles of any kind, straws, plastic glasses or etc. this throwing mostly happened as we strolling over parks, malls, picnic venues or as we walk along the street alone or with friends around.
why can't we refrained ourselves from throwing our garbage improperly anywhere to a place where we are standing or passing by. we are not innocent not to know the causes of being negligence and undisciplined person. even the kids must be taught proper manner too concerning this kind of action. we are contributing pollution to the surroundings even we say that what we threw only little pieces of our waste. the small parts will getting bigger when all of it are compact together forming huge of trashes. it will not just give eye sore to the viewers but it is one of the causes of flooding for it maybe a barrier of the water to flow fluently on the canals way down to its main outlet as it being possibly swept through it by the water or blown by the wind.
for me, if i have a trash, even how small it is, i kept it until i can find a proper place for disposal. i told myself, there is nothing i can do big for the nature, at least by doing things responsibly, i am helping my little way in conserving the mother nature. so why not try it on your own, and be proud of yourself for the little tactics that contribute good welfare to all of the human being more if the action starts from each of our being.
so why not start within yourself now. it should be done now or else prepare for the consequence after. be responsible guys! thank you...

Well, I must say that although you have a good discussion, moreover inherently a topic, very relevant today.
So dear friend, I tell you that I feel the same way as yours. That I never used throw objects such as bottles, cans, empty containers and other on the ground. I always look for the special bin.
I said just "special collector" also because in my city do you use the so-called "collection".
There are four types of waste which must be disposed of otherwise than in common.
these wastes are: paper, glass, plastic and cans.
The good thing is that these materials are recycled and reused.
This is definitely good for "Mother Nature"!

this kind of problem friend is so very usual and rampant anywhere and being done by most of us. but this discussion started as to my observation of my daily living as i saw lots of people doing it anywhere. i really cannot understand why lots of us lacks discipline concerning this matter. most of us did not learned from the tragedies occurred before that risked different lives and destroyed our properties, belongings, or different possessions and else. i cannot imagine why lots of us did not pay attention to the adds being posted and showed in television. oh man, for once, let us go altogether hand in hand to show our concern to the mother nature by at least disciplining ourselves to throw our dirt in its proper waste disposal can. if one of us doing that all over the world, we are helping to lessen the pollution all over, at least, even we cannot do it perfectly as we wanted it.

and too bad, they are not paying attention to the calls of the public not to throw garbage and waste anywhere even they are well-informed of the consequences of being negligence in a row in terms of proper sanitation and taking care of the mother nature. too hard-headed or too unfeeling even lots of tragedies occurred nowadays because we are not helping the environment free from pollution. so, if we will not changed ourselves to better one, let us prepare ourselves to the saying that, "what you reaped is based on what you sow." congrats to us for that. change for good or will suffer from the consequences.

I never throw garbage on the ground. Even when I'm in my room and the trash can is outside the door, I would try to shoot the crumpled paper, but when it doesn't reach I will always go over to throw it inside. I think most people would rather just throw anything anywhere, mostly in the public place. I know that's not a good habit, but who's to blame them? Would you rather open the lid of a dirty trash can and risk infection? hehe.. I think trash cans should have openings all the time, but if they have openings, flies would be swarming. Hmmm.. Such a dilemma.
But yeah, I do throw properly, both outside and inside my home.

oh no mate, let us try to give our best part even how minute things it would be in taking care of our surrounding for it is called accomplishment as well, because we are being sensitive to what might happened in the future and controlling ourselves to do what is right and appropriate. our best contribution to the nature and help the environment clean and nice.

I agree! I do make it a habit to throw my garbage on trash can OR if I can't find one, I keep it in pocket or bag until I can find one. The problem with most people is that they think that throwing small pieces of trash (like candy wrappers, plastic bags etc.) would not affect the environment. We have to start taking care of our environment.

yes, throw it properly or yet if cannot find a right place for it, keep it with you until you can find a trash to throw it. small things are hazardous, maybe we do not think about it for big things came from small ones. so that is why we must be aware and take our responsibility seriously because even if we are not oblige to be watchful to our mother nature, but as a creature, we must be affectionate not to destroy it because if it will claim its vengeance, it will not our hold anymore. so let us try to avoid this one or let us prepare to perish.
