I drove a taxi for 22 years in Panama City, FL..when we were the Spring Break Capital of the World. LOL MTV chartered me a couple of nights to take their technitions to Club La Vela wait on them and take them back to the Marriott. I have had Dave Matthews band in my taxi. The company had a contract with La Vela to transport their entertainers if needed. I took his band to the Marriott, and when we got there, they asked if I would take Dave to his building. He came out of their building drunk as a skunk, with 2 guitars one in each hand. The band member opened the door for him, and he threw in his guitars and sat down. I knew where he was going, but asked anyway. He said he didn't know. LOL I drove him to the building in the back, and had no idea which side he was staying in, and neither did he. I stopped in the middle and he got out..took his guitars, and Kicked my door shut. Yeah, I guess I could have gotten out and opened the door etc etc. But he was such an a** I didn't. When he kicked my door shut, I wanted to open mine so he would trip over it, but was nice. When I got home, I told my daughter about it, and she was like OMG! did you get his autograph? I told her he was lucky I didn't give HIM an autograph on his Eye! She went on to tell me who he was...I had no idea who he was at the time...I listen to Country Music and Real Rock n Roll. And even finding out who he was didn't change my opinion of him at ALL. Stay tuned for more
