Hubby and i went out last night just to unwind. A friend of his, invited him to a dart tournament in a resto bar here..so i said i will go with him as i love playing darts (i was a daddy's little girl and my dad taught me how to before and won some games back in college) when we arrive the tournament was already starting and his friends were even winning. It was nice being able to see the game again which well the only sport i am very good at lol.. and after that the guys went over our table, hubby bought some drinks for all of us and i ordered some onion rings as the place makes the best! While they were talking i heard my name and i could not believe it lol hubby was bragging at how good i was at this game! lol it was a bit embarrassing though hahaha i didn't know he talked about me and the guys were teasing him that i could beat him in the game and i could also play with them at the tournament! lol i even had to decline as i did not play it for some time now and i am rusty but it was fun, we played some darts afterwards which was pretty good and enjoyable.. it was a good thing to do after a long week of work. Hubby said we, him and i might play some darts at home too and practice we might get good again hahahaah. It was fun night but around 10 eve the rain poured soooooooo hard we could not go home immediately and there were lightning and thunder i got thinking of the kids at home they might be scared. But i called home and the nanny said they were already asleep. So pretty much it was a good night and i am looking forwards to playing darts again.

Wow that's nice. I wish we can go out without bringing our son. We always feel guilty leaving our son at home so after work we go straight home and spend the whole night with our son. Maybe when he gets a little older we can go out too. But me and my husband are homebodies. We don't like socializing that much though and I don't drink. Lol. Anyway, you are good at dart and that's so rare with woman.

Hi sis, before we always do feel guilty going out..so most often i would just tell my husband i would stay at home and he leave..and in the end he would also feel guilty leaving me lol.. but when the kids grew up, eventually we also learned we need to take some time for ourselves too.. as we also need to unwind and bond again... you will eventually get used to it as long as you also find someone who can look after your kid that you can trust. hahaha yes Darts is the only sport i know my friend lol.. i am that athletic hahaha.. my dad was the one who taught me that as he is good at it.. but any sports with a ball i am bad at it.

It's good you're out with your hubby. A good way to make the bond stronger, I guess. Wow, darts! I haven't played in the a long time and still don't know how the points go. hehehe.. Anyway, it's nice for us to be having a long weekend! I am enjoying every bit of it!! Maybe too much! So today, I have decided to stay home. Have a great Mylot experience ahead! Enjoy your looong weekend!

the point system can be pretty complicated if you are not used to playing it.. but i was exposed to it since i was a kid and it is the ONLY sports i know hahahaha! oh yes i guess i am also enjoying it too much but i still have an office today but will end by 3pm and will also be staying at home this night..and maybe do some chores too.

You and hubby need time out together. I bet you had tons of fun. I am glad you eventually got to go home or you would not be posting this to MyLot.

wonderful to hear, what other things did you do other than that.i have had plenty of moments like that when we went to swimming and also played darts along the course road.drove like craze in midnight and also partied harder with friends. but we wont normally prefer drinks at those times since it can spoil our fun and sometimes we feel that we are tired and fell down.so its better to avoid and the weather too was humid and hot.which made it even more interesting without spoiling our plans and those place were brimming with natural aesthetic beauty. The fun part which i loved certainly was taking photographs with my friends and sharing with them in facebook.these all are part of fun and even we got ran into some hardcore situations like this many no of times

Sometimes its very necessary to do things you do when you were not parents, after a hectic week, spending time with hubby and and enjoying keeps so fresh, energetic and you will feel a new zeal in your life. coming out from the routine and doing something different makes you YOU!! what you are and always wanna be. Some of my friends always say that IF YOU ARE NOT DOING DIFFERENT THINGS YOU ARE MISSING SO MUCH FUN!!. so at every weekend i also do things which i have never done before. also spending this weekend with hubby will take your bonding and understanding to a higher level. Sometimes it happens that we are so busy doing our routine that we forgot our personal life, who we are? so giving time to yourself also gives you a better understanding over things and also reshuffle and manage things.
