Went to flea market last night with my friends. There was this western couple selling old books. I was looking for something to buy when I noticed a hard bound book entitled How to be Single a novel written by Liz Tuccillo.
I was laughing and told my friends that we should never buy such book because we want to be double (means we wanna have a boyfriend)
. I told this to the couple too. Then I asked them if they have a book with the title How to be Double? Told them I’m so tired of being single so I’m not gonna buy that book. Then we all laughed.
The guy can’t stop smiling and laughing at the same time. She says she has that book but before finishing the book she found her hubby. Then I told her she should give it free then coz she wouldn’t need it anymore.
To my surprise, she says that she’s giving it to me for free. I asked her again if she’s serious then she says yes. 
And that if ever I found a man I should give it to another single lady.

LOL... That was funny, EN... But I guess the lady meant good for you.. There're many books on this topic, for obvious reason that everyone wants to be 'double'... :-)... People make a lot of money out of selling such books.. It was, therefore, strange that she gave it to you for free... You know what, she really meant good for you...
I hope you get a good partner, with or without the help of the book.... :-)

I think she wants me to have it not to feel sad that I am single instead to enjoy life. That is what I also think, she let me have it for free when they're actually selling it for 15 dhs (about 200 Philippine pesos). In flea markets here they usually sell old books 5 (pocketbook type) and 10-15 dhs for big and hardbound books. So I'm so happy that she just gave it to me

Well that is great, EN... In the era of globalization and with so much of inflation around, people don't give things for free... So it is really an amazing thing... Yes, she definitely meant good for you... You must have an exceptional personality, that prompted an act of kindness from someone who makes money by selling books... :-).
I'm single too.. And I enjoy the fun of it.. Although, there are times when I wish I was not single... LOL...
So did you read the book? How is it? Is it useful??? ;-)

Actually I am now enjoying being single too. Yet those times will suddenly come when we wish there's someone that inspires and loves us. Nope I haven't started reading the book, I just read the introduction and stopped since I was so busy doing something else these holidays.

Hi enelym: Well good luck with this free book Maybe you get your boyfriend as it states on the book but even if you don't it's good to read some books that gives you advices to work on your personality and how to be more attractive, etc. Enjoy your reading.

Hahaha, not really depending on it much. But I love how the couple buys my joke to even give me the book for free. I started reading the book and the writer is talking about these women in the story became single. It's really cool that I can actually relate to the story. Hopefully I can find more time to read it as up to now I was stuck on that page. I feel like I will learn a lot of good advices from the book.

OH nope I am not in a hurry now.. Few months ago, yes I really wanted to have one coz I thought to be able to forget the past is having a new love. Well I guess I was wrong. Coz now that I am happy and not thinking about the past, my mind is not filled with wishing for a boyfriend anymore Just waiting when the right one will come.

Embrace where you are in life, you are just getting back to normal and learning to live, laugh again...and the sharing of love with another man, will come! It is so nice, to have our darling spirited "enelym" back! Yes I'm learning to smile, laugh and love life again ;) I don't really know what;s with this book but on that same night as we're heading home, there's this guy who approached me and asked for my pin and later on number. There were some guys too who are there showing interest on me. Right now I'm in the process of getting to know some and not wasting time of those whom I don't feel anything. I am trying to be frank and not waste time if I don't like someone.
I am really enjoying life now with or without any guy. But well I still hope that there will come a guy who will love me truly and whom I will also love truly. and later have my own family. just don't know when that will happen

You can't find a man by reading or buying a book about it! That is a crazy idea! I think that woman just got lucky when she found her man! It has nothing to do with the book! Believe me I have read books on how to find a man and they didn't work! The books are full of nonsense!

Relax blue, this is just a joke, nothing serious about it. In life we need to find some funny things too. We and the couple enjoyed our conversation about the book - we just find something for us to laugh about.
Finding love, we must not depend on anything. SOmeone will come when we least expect it. And yes there were guys around, but I still reject if I don't like them. So please don't think that I am depending my love life only on a book, that is such a stupid and foolish thing to think!

Now look at that! hahaha! You're in some kind of a romantic movie with this magical book. But you must remember, you should never finish the book so you can find your hubby too (the way I read the story) hehe!
