Choosing a Bass Guitar

Which is better to buy 5 string bass guitar or 4 string bass guitar. Some said that 5 string guitar is difficult to play.Any suggestion.thanks

You should choose a bass guitar based on what you plan to do with it. Who are the bass players you admire? Which guitar do they play? Can you afford the 5-string? Will it give you more range and flexibility or can you do what you want musically with the 4-string? This is an individual question that only you can answer for yourself.
