Is anyone still active in writing for Yahoo! Voices and Examiner.com

After reading many discussions about getting paid to write articles, I hear so much about hubpages, bukisa, and squidoo but hardly anything about Yahoo! Voices aka Associated Content and Examiner.com. How long have you written for these programs and what will be the pros and cons of each?

I know a writer in Canada who use the Examiner.com site and he's happy enough with it. I'm a member of Yahoo! Voices but I've been hearing mixed reviews about it and I haven't contributed for a while. I might give it another look.

I haven't written for Yahoo for over a year, but I still get a little money from them each month. You have to be a good writer to make a lot there, but some people do well. I've been with them since they were Associated Content and will probably write for them again at some point. I've never tried Examiner, but haven't heard much good about them.
