Why number is not increased when start the discussions?

Still I not understand why number is not increased after starting discussions. At least for one discussion one no. should increase. Whats the reason behind this anyone knows.
I know not effect on my earning even the no. not increased but feel happy when increased the no. feel ohhh I am also jumping on senior user list haha....

When you start a new topic for discussion the number will increase AFTER it receives either 2 responses (or 1 response + 1 comment).
If it remains with no responses then your number will not increase

Ohhh really this is true thanku very much still I not know about it and I think this discussion will helpful for newbie also because this is new thing is in mylot which most of the person not know tell me how is fanta's photo with no. it is allowed in discussion or not.

Well, I can answer to you, according to my personal experience. In fact, I also noticed that our number of rank, does not increase when we write new threads, but rather, only when we comment on existing ones, written by other users. This value does not increase even when we make a comment on a discussion written by us. This is what I can tell by of my many years of experience on Mylot.

You are not very observant 
Our user activity rating changes:
- when we start a new topic and it receives 2 responses (or 1 response + 1 comment)
- when we respond on a discussion started by others
- when we comment (for the first time) on a discussion started by others.
All other activity adds to earnings but does not change that number.
(It also decreases if deletions take place causing us to lose our posts).

Your number increases when you respond back in a discussion if it is your first time responding back in there. The only time it increases after you start a new discussion is when the first person chooses to respond back in it. So that is a good reason why quality is important.

Your number will increase only if you get two responses for a discussion. If you put quality discussions you will get good replies to the discussions you have started.

Thanks to say this now I understand very well. You know aunty here I got 4 good teacher Diana madam, you, owlings sir and Ravi sir. I learn everyday new thing about mylot and English. The way is only starting discussion or responding on others.

Lol, I can clearly see you're number changed from 1774 to 1794. Maybe you misjudged something. It seems to be okay now. Don't put too much thinking in all this. I don't either. Just concentrate on participation. 10 days back I started with 0 and now I'm at 200-odd. Haha. Good night!

Helloooo dear friend this is not misjudged I respond on 22 discussions so my number is increased. I am starting discussions and responding also.
