Back to stressful and busy work after 4 days of long weekend.......

Thank God that I got home now from so stressful and busy day at work.
Back to work after 4 days of now work due to 2 days of holiday.
It is quite so stressful and busy at the office today. Too many pending works to be done, last minute adjustments in some reports to be pass. Many people to talk to. Some deadlines to meet.
After 4 days of rest, well I do expect this kind of scenario. Thank God that I could still find time to have a cup of coffee for a while.
Well, for sure it is still quite stressfu and still busy tomorrow in some works that need to finish.
For now, time to eat dinner then get back here later.

Welcome back to reality then!
The long weekend really provided extra stress during the return on office. I got several mails coming in. Good thing it was tone down by holidays too in other countries in Asia. The vacations really make us more efficient during the resume of work. Can't help it. That's all in a day's work. Just be sure you don't eat up all the rest that you got from the vacation in just this single day of stress.

Yeah! Add to that the near closing for the period. Our period closing is set at one month and it is happening this same week. Imagine the workload and the rushing out of people. Oh well, I better stop whining and start doing my job more efficiently now. I am beginning to forget what happened last vacation/rest days!

This stressful and busy day of going back to work really starve me more that makes me eat a lot during breaks.Maybe to add more extra to done all the works accurately and fast.

That's right, after the very long weekend, there are many work to be done at office. There are many things to beat the deadline. But the most happy thing is that we have to spend only three days at work for this week and another holiday on monday (as I presume, LOL).

Yeah another holiday on Monday, quite extension of the ended long weekend. Another holiday to relax and rest, to enjoy Sunday without worrying to go to work early by Monday.

You are right, another extended weekends. I think I will do more on mylot to be able to cover the days that I haven't visited here since we are in our province last weekends. I think I will also do some crafting. I will try to sew curtain since my mom gave me a fabric that can be used as curtains.

yeah. it was a busy holiday for some who got the chance to travel since it was a long holiday in the Philippines. the thing is, we have work on the said two days, i had to come to office and work extra for requirements needed at work.. it sure was something i needed to do... so it was also a busy holiday for me too, but mine is work loaded and not fun loaded. he he :D

Well mine is quite fully loaded cause I have to attend to the needs of some of our branches. Just time management to perfrom and do all te works fast and accurate.

The last couple jobs that I worked at, we really weren't stressed out after a long weekend. The reason was that one job had set deadlines, but those weren't really affected by the long weekends as those dates were built into the deadlines. The other job was at the hospital, so they were open twenty-four seven and every day was pretty much the same thing.
My mother, on the other hand, works at a job where they have a turn time and that means that every first day of the work week is a day that they have to work longer hours because they have to make sure all of the work is done before they are allowed to go home.

That usually is the result of holidays and vacations. You are stress free for several days but once you return to office papers etc. that should have been attended to during the holidays had filed up and you have to work double time to catch up with deadlines. That's work and your're lucky to have one.

Long holidays result to either doing works before the week en or double time our work after long weekend. Quite both stressful but at least enjoy the long weekend for awhile before or after a stressful and busy life at work.

We do have busy days and dull times in the office. But, this back to work day for you is really not a good one. I even envy you because you had experienced that long weekend break. I never had that break because I have to work last Monday and Tuesday and it was even busy for me even if we don't have any holidays.

Back to reality. It seems many of us are having a hard time after the long weekend. It's true that after days of no work, expect volumes of work on your table. Sometimes, it is really irritating to think why it needs to pile up on a day but that we have to face so just go on with the work. Just take a break if needed to recharge.
