The top player from the bigger club and sport car are two things is united each other..But it doesn`t applied in Manchester United.. Why?? Their manager, Sir Alex Ferguson prohibit his youngster player drive the luxury sport car... The main sponsor of Manchester United is Chevrolet, the producent of Luxury sport car but the special rule from the manager prohibit any player below 23 years for driving the sport Chevrolet like Corvette and et al (Phil Jones 20 years old, Chris Smalling 22 Years old, Rafael 22 years old, Danny Wellbeck 21 years old) The policy of Sir Alex is the usual his policy..he want to make sure that his youngster player is not arrogant because can drive the luxury sport car.. i ever remember when Sir Alex policy is not effective for David Beckham which is too closely with the celebrity world and closely with his wife...Sir Alex maybe gives two choice for David Beckham, focus to football with MU or leave MU.. What do you think about the special rule of Sir Alex Ferguson??

I don't think this rule is a democratic one. All of these players are young and millionaire, so why shouldn't they have luxury cars? They are at the age where these things can be very important, and they should be let to live their dreams. Maybe this rule will make youngsters to think twice before signing for United.

it is way of Sir Alex Ferguson.. he ever made the controversial statement for his player. he ever prohibit his player not to closely with the celebrity..but one of his player is stubborn and married with celebrity..he is one of the his favourite player, David Beckham..Beckham leave MU (maybe) because he can`t stand with another strict policy of Sir Alex, but many of his friend still stay in Old Traford..

I am not a big fan of anybody really putting rules on anyone's personal lives. So in that sense I oppose such rules on principle. Having said that I would probably put a restriction on the sponsor from gifting sports cars to youngsters below 23 and that is fine. But what one does with one's own money is one's business. If you ask me, this rule is a bit discriminative. Does Sir Alex accept an inferior performance from the below 23 players in the first XI than the above 23? Will he accept that? If not, why should the players accept this rule? Cheers! Ram

is it discriminative?? sometimes the good coach is very strictly and very tough Zeman is giving the hard coaching clinic for his player, but it is good for accepting pressure from the fans and management... I know that the youngster have money too, but with the rule like that, they should follow what the coach instruction

I don't mind tough discipline if it is applied to the whole team. See I am a person who goes by results. Who all give the same results deserve the same general rules and treatment. If Sir Alex were to lay this rule on the whole team, I would not mind if. If he lays this rule on players performing below a particular level I do not mind. But age should not be that criteria. Also, when you give some body a compensation, you cannot have the right to determine how they spend that compensation. You can advise, but the final decision should be that of the individual. Cheers! Ram

This is interesting I ll say, but I didn't hear about the ''special'' rule you are talking about, besides, when it comes to luxurious cars there are a lot of varieties that comes to mind especially the roles royce there in great britain, banning the youngstars from driving expensive ca®s to me has nothi g to do with their performance of the game, hell if I had that much money, I would buy whatever I like with it and nobody would tell me how to and how not to spend the cash.

Actually, I haven't find the reason why Sir Alex prohibit his U-23 players to drive sports car from Chevrolet. I don't know why media not quoting the news or the rules completely. That's make people questioning this rule. Or maybe, it's all media objective, to make such a blow-up of this thing? About this rule itself, I still can't say if I'm agree or disagree. (Back again to what is the reason). But if it's to make the player not arrogant, like you said Adhyz, then I will 100% agree. Discipline is needed, especially when you're young and still explosive, have a lot energy left in you

if you as why media is not quoting the completely news, my answer, Sir Alex Ferguson and MU management didn`t give the reason to the media..it is only prediction from the media why Sir Alex Ferguson didn`t give permit to his youngster player.. Ferguson is one of the strict manager..he ever make the controversial policy too but i forgot what and when..

Every the top list team in the world have their own way of playing skill, like his moves, skills, some others. Their coach like Sir Ferguson wants his team to be concentrate, always to be keep trying and use the opportunity in correct order. Might be discipline mainly priority in stay in Manchester United, i think.

Not everyone come to manage like Sir Ferguson even if have a high controversial. Ability in good team build and think carefully to buy a player suit the position and sorry to say that not like Manchester city is just focusing in buying player with high expectation. Recently the club has been called buyers club. However the both Manchester is become rival each other.
