I love dogs mel =) they are man's bestfriend dogs are loyal and funny too, especially when they do dog tricks. Such a cutie

Hi- I love both cats and dogs. Right now I have 2 cats, Chloe and Tigger. They are from the same litter, and are so funny to watch. Each have their own personality, and Tigger often comes when you call him, and follows my husband around the house like a dog! I had a dog growing up and kind of miss having a dog that you can take for a walk and train to do tricks.

I think dogs are more loyal than cats . I Also like cats more because they are soft and cute my brother love dog more because they can do lots of outside activity with him.

I agree.. a Cat's personality can be compared to a girl's personality. They are moody sometimes while dogs seem more loyal and patient to their masters :)

Hello melissa and welcome to myLot. I have ha a number of cats over the years and never thought of them as sweet, sensitive or loyal. I think of them as independent, interesting and yes funny. Some cats are cuddly but not very trust worthy. They can be very vengeful when they think they are being taken for granted. They also don't require as much attention as dogs do. I have ha cats pee on a pile of towels the kids left on the bathroom floor say these don't belong here. I know of one lady who's cats peed in her slipper because she didn't get up when they thought she should. one in each slipper. I believe that cats can and do express them selves with their faces. I love cats because they are independent and as you said funny. Now dogs on the other hand are so complacent as to be boring. Dogs are very loyal and can be trusted. They need a lot more attention than a cat does. A dogs needs to be taken for a walk. a cat just needs a litter box and it needs changed daily but it can be on your time. Cats get my vote every time even though we do have two dogs and two cats.

hi deebomb! Nice one! Haha! I think cats have different personalities like humans. As for me, I have a cat named ashley. She is with us since she was young. I pampered her always. She goes wherever I go. She likes to take a nap on my shoulder when I am sitting. She just loves to be cuddled. The funny thing I remember that she did was when it is time for me to go to my room to sleep, she will walk before me and enter the room. She will position herself to the window( our window has a screen)waiting for insects to crawl. And when she spotted a lizard, she will jump on it. And its funny because there is no way she can get the lizard and yet she still tries to catch it. And when she is tired she will sleep on my pillow. :)

I prefer cats over dogs, they suit my personality better, I am a calm person and a dog is too energetic for me. I also don't like when they come and try to lick you. Cats are cleaner too and spend a lot of time cleaning their fur and can be playful too but not in a sticky way.
My fav dog breed is akita inu and shiba inu.

Cats are also sweet. They like to massage a part of my leg with their front paws when I'm sitting or lying down.
Were you able to experience that with your cat before? :)
