Wilsonburrell: It all depends on the people present at a time online. Even the same discussion can be made on conversation basis. What do you think are the type of points that will result in conversation that you have in mind.

The beauty of myLot is that we don't have to be online at the same time in order to carry forward a conversation. I have an ongoing back and forth discussion for the last 2 days with another user on another topic. I guess that I post when she is sleeping but she gets the notifier and comes back and comments when it is my turn to be sleeping.

yes. this is another way. I write when the member is sleeping. He gets up and he posts his replies. At that time I may not be near the computer or I may be sleeping. Then afterwards when I get time I post a reply and it goes on. Only thing required is some debatable topics -- for example whether it is good to do........... I am not getting anything in my mind immediately.

I was referring to a discussion that was going on where you were there Lamb was there and a few other members were also there --do we get paid for posting comments--- that became a lengthy one. I was watching by standing from outside the arena.

MyLot is a discussion site not a question and answer site. We earn for our quality participation and in the FAQs myLot tell us to further the topic with comments. Nowhere do they tell us to answer questions. If you avoid those topics that leave little room for discussion and appear to be just a question requiring an answer, then youwill see that your problem is solved

You will see that there are many of us who enjoy keeping the conversation moving forward - and there surely is a reason why we do it

I remember seeing a post somewhere by you where you mentioned that 100 posts are more or less one dollar. That is not the case here at all, because there is no fixed rate for anything exceot tasks. Our earnings take into consideration our overall quality particpation and not just the responses that we post. Indeed some of us don't post many responses at all because we stick to just commenting wherever we see something interesting.

I say tha t100 posts are around a dollar because it seems like I get a penny for everything I do. Like one day I commented on 20 posts and got 20 cents.

and that again had to do with quality. I can do that and make one dollar as I will put more effort into it. I have done just a few posts in a day and still made close to a dollar,its quality so no we are not paid a penny.none of us earns the same as anyone else.here again not quantity as that just g

ets you 20 cents but quality and it could net out one dollar and thirteen cents

wilsonburrell this is not supposed to be a guestion and answer site but a discussion site where we do go back a nd forth as I have done on my own discussions many times.b ypass a simple question answer be deleted for breaking some rule. a good discussion does give all sorts of room for going back and forth.also we do not h ave fixed rates for anything we post here so do not give out false information.,we are paid not for quantity but instead for quality which means no two people will make the same amou nt of money for one days work here.No most discussions here are discussions and i do enjoy the going back and forth between me and all my friends here. w

Hatley aunty: How are you? did you talk to your son? you are happy. \ Aunty - another discussion is going on about number of children and family control measures-- started by a China member. Are there any incentives for getting children in USA? I think countries like Russia and Germany give incentives.

I'm not sure about that that will give you more earning. Indeed it's quite difficult to keep the conversations going on.

yheart wrong wrong wrong. its easy to keep a conversation going if you think of this as talking to one other on paper instead of over the back yard fence. You say something and I respond then x responds to me then you again comment then x comes back then y'comes along and comments on your comment. see its easy .

you are new and not an authority so do listen as I am older here it does give you more earnings the more you participate here.

hi hehe that sounds like me and my lamp. my desktop lacks just a little space to put a lamp. my son brought me this lamp without bulb or shade and as I had not got to g etting the shade I tried to move it and its caught between my desk and my huge bureau .I tried to get it out but cannot lift heavy stuff asI have a hernia.so it sits there and I hope myson can pry it ou t. lol lol

Yheart welcome to mylot. In fact some members do have discussions in the form of conversations where people exchange ideas in a fruitful manner. Then they get paid more for that. But that requires at least two or three people on the line who can raise point, clarify and it goes on like a cycle. Aunty-- you tell about some conversation you had in the recent past --may be lengthy one or short one? On my part I gained suggestions from people in conversation when my dvd got stuck up in laptop. then i could solve this problem.
