Is it just me?

When it was winter time, I couldn't wait for spring. Now, that it's summer I can't wait for fall. It seems like this year we have only had winter and summer, nothing in between. It's kind of hard thinking about having to get wood to keep the wood stove going (for those cold days/nights) when the temperature has been in the upper 90's and 100's.

I guess it's the effect of global warming? Things had been weird lately when it comes to the weather and this weirdness happened at our place as well. Anyway, just enjoy whatever season you got. Keep warm and make the most of it.

I have endured the longest hottest summer of my life this year. At last the temperature has dropped and I am hoping that we will have a long autumn before the winter comes. It seems as though hot countries are getting hotter and wet ones are getting wetter. As you so wisely say, let's adapt to what we get and enjoy ourselves regardless.

I don't know if it has to do with age or what, but I feel as this summer has been the hottest. My husband has been doing some research on the internet and has found that we've been having weather like it was in the 1930's. So back in the 1930's with the hot weather back then came an abnormally cold winter! So, I guess we prepare ourselves. Where I live at (in Nebraska), they say if you don't like the weather stick around and it will change within the day. Like this morning it was cool and by mid afternoon you'll have to take off the jacket and put on shorts.

As far as "global warming" goes, I don't believe that! Because in the winter what happens to global warming? lol

I waited for spring, too. It warmed up very early and we thought it would get cold again, but it went straight to summer. The summer has been long, dry and hot and I can't wait for it to cool off. I already have fall decorations out. I hope it doesn't go straight from fall to winter, but even at that, I prefer the cooler temperatures. I can only wish I had a stove to burn wood in. We burned wood for heat and for cooking for many years, but can't do that any more since we moved into town. I miss it. I might even cut wood in the 90 degree temperatures.

I'm such a summer lover. Though sometimes it is hot and frustrating, but i feel the sunshine of summer gives me a lot hope to start. I'm energetic in a whole day. Well i still love winter, beautiful snow gives me a lot to think. lol

I understand where it's coming from. We tend to look for something, since we do the routine monotonously.

Wow,the sprin and the autumn have eloped together.Well, just a kidding. I have the same feeling, when i was young,my favourite season is spring and winter. You know the weather is very comfortable in spring, and we can take a walk in outdoors. The flowers in bloom and the birds are singing.Though it is very cold in winter ,we can make a snowman, have a snowball fight, even if just seat somewhere to watch the snow falls, its a happy experience. However, the spring and the fall won's appear anymore, and the winter have changed its temper.I haven't seen the snow last year.
