Something Is Missing because of PCOS

I just feel bad today. I do have this feeling once every month when my cycle comes. I'm carrying the "FAILURE" hat on my head. I have been failing my marriage for the past five years because of my Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). It's affecting my chances of getting pregnant. So every month, the pain seems to dig a hole in my heart. Everything seems perfect but there's always missing. To myLot friends who are on the same boat of trying to conceive, how do you cope with this turmoil? :(

First and foremost you are not failing anything. When the right time comes your body will know it and the things that should happen will. I have PCOS and have four children so please do not lose hope. I had troubles along the way do to it. I will not lie there. I went into labor with # 1 at 22 weeks and had to be on bed rest for 15 weeks. #'s 2 and 3 where preemies and had extended stays in The NICU, #3 was also a twin but we lost one at 17 weeks. We then had a stillborn and amazingly enough had the last one with little to no problems related to the PCOS. I know it is easier said then done but relax and stop putting pressure on yourself. The stress can cause even someone without issues to not get pregnant. I have found meditation and reiki work for me try them and you very well may feel healthier all around.

Thanks for sharing your stories. I always get inspired when I hear success stories of PCOS. I've been trying not to think about it, but I can't help sometimes, mostly when having a baby is all that we want. Our present residency is adding burden to my situation, because the fertility specialist is too far from my place, and the laboratory facilities are unavailable.

We did not use a doctor. It was actually the pregnancies that lead us to find the PCOS seeing as how I had difficulties carrying full term.
