I know Carvin guitars are made in The USA, however are all the parts including electronics all American made as well?

Carvin claim that all of their equipment (guitars, amps &c) is Made in USA. This doesn't guarantee, of course, that all the individual components (especially the electronic processor chips, transistors, resistors, capacitors and so on) will be of US manufacture and they do not claim that anywhere at all on their website. The statement "Made in USA" always means that the design and assembly of the equipment as a whole is done on American soil and very rarely implies that ALL the components are manufactured in the USA. I would think it very likely that anything which is specific to the Carvin designs (printed circuit boards, cases, &c) is genuinely made in the US but that generic components are sourced from the best available commensurate with their quality standards and economic viability. This is quite normal and, indeed, sensible practice in the electronics industry.

Thanks for your informative reply. Interesting and yes, somewhat understandable, however it still makes for a valid argument if they are using parts from overseas.

Hi, Carvin also make a wide range of electronics associated with their guitars, bass, solid or acoustics, MIDI, mixers, complete line of instruments for professionals and beginners alike. All made in the USA, satisfaction guaranteed. I wonder if I could get one of their acoustics, they should be able to ship worldwide or else I would opt for Gibson or Yamaha available just downtown.

Thanks for your response. That is amazing if they are all USA made (including the electronic parts of the guitar). Yes, everything they make seems to be of very high quality.
