I feel not good today for my ill body. therefore i'm in a bad mood. I always think that i do not belong to the explore department though i work here for only half month. I would like to do the job as my colleagues do--to communicate with the permanent customers. I believe only with high enthusiasm one can have good performance. so i want to talk with my boss to change my department. but also i'm afraid of failing in this and have bad influence on my job. what should i do ???

My two cents on this is that since you are quite new at your job, you probably are still in the adjustment stage. For some people, it takes a bit of a time to get used to the work, the new environment and also the people you work with. Also, I would suggest that you find something positive and enjoyable in your current job. Do not dwell on the things that you don't like about it. Try to look for the things that you do like and focus on it. If you do that, you will find your perspective shifting and before long, you will start to enjoy yourself. If you still want to move to another department, make sure that you really made a good impression on your current one, be in a good place about it (feel good about yourself and your job) and then talk to your boss. :)

Since you're still new in your job, I think you just need more adjustment and try to make an adaptation first. I suggest don't ask your boss to be moved to another department yet since I think it just will make a bad impression of you don't want to try first. So try it first, relax and show a good performance as far as you can.

I know that most of the causes of some sickness are caused with stress due to work related stress factors. I think if this illness you have is caused by your work then I guess you have to let your employer know about this so that they can make arrangement for you to be transferred to another department. I think it is best that you consult your situation with them and if they are not considerate about it then it is best to find a new one that could accommodate your personality with the job they would give you.

You're only half a month do I guess you are still making a good impression to your boss. If you'd tell him that, I guess he will doubt if you'd also do good in the other department. Before making a decision, you have to weigh the consequences. I guess you are still in the adjustment period. I hope you will feel better in that department as day goes by. You're hired for that position because your boss saw your potential. Don't let him think that he made the wrong decision hiring you. Have faith in yourself.

Before you were hired on this job, were you told what exactly are you supposed to do? Am sure you were placed on your present department because your skills perfectly match the requirements for the job. Asking your boss if you can be put on a different department might not give you a good impression. Why not allow yourself to learn more about the new job and try to be enthusiastic about it. If still after a few months you feel that you can do more for the company, I think your performance should speak for itself.

failing in this department will surely have a bad impression of you in the department when the department needs you. You have to change the way look at in this department and starting enjoying the work in the current department. You are getting paid for what you do and bosses of course mean business and are not there to do favors for the workers to make them comfortable with the department they work in. So, show that you can do anything by performing good in the current department. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Why you want to change your department? Just because of your ill body? If it's true, i don't agree with you. I guess you'll feel frustrated as well in new department. If you are being in bad health now, i advise you having a rest to recover your body. Without good healthy, you can't do anything better. Maybe you are just not fit to your job, i think you should not give up, you've only worked half month, it's too short, just adjust youself and conquer problems, i think you'll be accustomed to your job soon.

oh.,...you know what you want to do but why did you choose that department? by the way, you can speak out all your thinking or what you want to do to your boss. I hope you can move to a suitable department and do what you are interested.
