We had to re-drywall our basement because of a flood we had a while back, the basement flooded then we got it all dried up and then it flooded again, then it started to get mold, so we had to rip out all of the carpet and drywall. We finally got new dry wall up and it is taped. We still have a little bit of taping left to do and then of course painting and base boards. Our electric garage door opener has not worked for years ever since we got a new garage door that was too heavy for the door opener to lift it. Several of our light switches are goofy, who ever did the electrical work when they built this house didn't do a very good job. So what needs fixed around your house?

we have a lot to do in our house but no money to do it. we have a hole in our kitchen ceiling where our bathroom leaked but we just haven't had the money to fix it. our daughter went to college this year and that's where all our money has gone.

I hear you about college, we have one going in 2 years and 1 in three years, we are starting to realize that although we have been saving their whole lives it is still not going to be enough. That same thing happened to our ceiling a few years back. Actually my dad was fixing our toilet. He left the water on and went to the hardware store and the water just poured on the the floor and wen through the ceiling in the kitchen. The really sad thing is that toilet still doesn't work right. Luckily my brother in law used to be a dry waller. He does good work and fixed the ceiling for us.

hi, the thing that we need to fix at home are the roof because its damaged by the heavy rain last five months ago,and another thing is the floor because some of the wood are ruined and need to re-floor it by wood also.and the last is the window because it is broken due to long run of it.

Well I rent, I am in government housing. I just moved in in Sept. Right now all seems well. I guess it will depend on when there is a repair, then and only then will I know if they are quick at doing repairs or not.

It's a small part of a ceiling in my room. My galvanized iron roof needs some fixing, repaint to avoid the leak that damage a small portion in my ceiling. I have it done soon before it rained for many days again.
