Annoying neighbors

A friend of mine is always annoyed because of the pets, particularly dogs, that her landlord has. It often disturbs her sleep whether it is night or day. But she does not want to create a misunderstanding between her and the landlord because of that. If you are in her situation, how will you handle such annoying situation?

There is no option but to tolerate that. If we can find another house then we can change. otherwise one has to put up with the annoying dog noise.

I totally agree with you. That is a very hard situation and you can end up just fighting with your neighbor. So what you can do is really to tolerate it up to the maximum that you can. And if you cannot tolerate anymore, then the next choice is to look for another house.

Where i live you can get in touch with the local council for barking dogs as legally it is classed as a noise nuisance and they can take legal action against the landlord. I also have a problem with my neighbours as they like to get drunk and fight and argue at all times of the day and night. There is a lot of swearing and banging comes from that property its their small children i feel most sorry for.

Personally I guess it would determine what kind of issues she is having, and if they are well warranted or not. Considering that they are her landlord it could cause issues if it is just something not really of importance. But it if is something serious she needs to find a way to be able to talk with them and let them know of the issues involved.

Life is to short now and not getting enough sleep can make you feel terrible. I would move, if your friend can afford to move. If not, then maybe ear plugs would help.

If i were in her situation i'll find another place to stay than suffer until you don't know when the noise of her landlord's pets. Home is where you expect to have all the rest you need but if this not possible in the place where you now stay then find it somewhere else.

hi, actually there is no problem with a neighborhood who have dogs unless the owner can manage or discipline his/her pets so that it can not disturb other people next to there house,if that happen to me of course i will tell to the owner to discipline his dog.

Well maybe I'd sneak some sleeping tablets and give it to the dogs whenever I need some peace so they would sleep and rest from barking. How would I do that? I'd add the sleeping tablets with the food. I don't think that will kill them at all. It will only send them to sleep whenever I need to sleep as well. If dogs want to bark, even their master can't stop them because they are not human and can't be controlled easily. So your friend has to be resourceful. Tell her to go and buy sleeping tablets now Hahaha
