In your own opinion, do you like girls wearing too much make-up?

I saw videos on youtube with teens who are obsessed with make-up. They are the so-called gurus and they know every make-up's name from brushes to lipsticks and stuff and what bothers me are the age, they're like twelve to sixteen. When I was that age the only make-up I use is lip balm (that's not even considered make-up) but teens today wear falsies and creams that are way too strong for that age bracket. Let me know what you think guys..

Whenever I saw teens wearing too much make up, I am worried. What's happening with the world? I have learned putting make up when I was 19 and I am already working by then. Also, make up should only be worn when needed and minimize it please. Too much make up looks weird and funny, for me.

Absolutely right. Whenever I see women putting on too much make-up, I laugh to myself secretly. Girl, you think you look hot but you look like Bozo the clown! Kidding aside, putting on too much just shows how insecure and afraid you are to show your real beauty.

Luckily my 15 year old daughter does not want to wear much makeup. But she does tell me when I wear some that I am wearing it wrong.I do see some girls, mostly on tv that look way older then their age because they are so plastered up in make up,some stuff I have never even heard of.

You know what my eight year old shocked me when she asked me to buy her a set of real make-up when we went shopping. I told her straight off, you don't need make-up to look good my dear, you'll be prettier without all those gunk.

No, I don't like to see anyone wearing too much makeup, especially if it's clumsily applied. It always seems to me as if they are making an attempt to hide their looks rather than enhance their best features.

Hello there I think I have seen those make up tutorials too I have seen many girls on you tube having tutorials on applying make ups. They even teach or have some tutorials on how to achieve a certain celebrity's look on her video or in her photos. These girls are way talented on my opinion because they can really achieve those looks but there are instances that wearing make up for teens are not that acceptable.I am not against the use of make up specially if you apply it in a proper way and in a proper event.Wearing make up for me is a girls way to become neat and presentable on special occassions. But if a girl uses make up when going to school or just in the house I think being a grown up myself I can remind her of the proper usage for it will also cause her skin or face some irritations when used everyday or for a long hours. some girls aged 12 to 16 are very addicted to make ups because they see it on tv and they idolize some celebrities who has a beautiful face registered on camera using those brand of make up so in return they search for the brand name and then just buy it online or in stores.

Yes, make-up can either break or make you. I think teens can use it with the right occasion like proms and such but for school, a natural look is always the best.

I personally think almost everyone wears too much makeup. Teenagers, especially young teens put far too much emphasis on what they look like. Falsies and so on, are ridiculous. I think they could stand a little adult supervision.

I always thought that make-ups were fun. The face is like canvas. I remember trying up make up when I was young but I wear them rarely. I do it just for fun or for a wedding..once every3 or 4 months. I believe it is important to leave the skin alone because make ups are made from different chemicals and you don't want those stuff to affect your skin in long term. That being said, I rarely use facial lotion for the same reason. I try to leave it as natural as possible. The fake eyelashes are the worst. I heard that if you wear those alot, they could tear off the real lashes. There's also that girl 'michelle phan' and she's crazy....there's a video where she demonstrates what kind of night creams she applies before going to sleep. It's just too much.

Thats to much make up. It kind of reminds me of the character Mimi from the Drew Carey Show. They need to ease up on it.

I think their parets should step in and let these girls be girls, act according to their age and not hurry in growing up. This is clearly an indication of the declining values being instilled to the young generation this day. And I do blame their parents, because those makeup are not cheap to begin with. They have to have a steady paycheck coming in in order for them to be able to buy themselves those cosmetics and at the same time have some money left for basic necessities (they still have to eat after all). So most likely, the money comes from their parents.

In some cultures, wearing make-up is not that big of a deal, even during the teen-age years. Some consider it as a way to express themselves, some thinks make-up hides their flaws, others think it enhances their physical attributes. Whatever the reason, bottom line is that it makes them feel good, and that's okay. :) There are also some cultures that basically frown upon girls wearing make-up unless they have reached adulthood. So it's a culture thing, and it varies from country to country. And for me, that's okay. :)
