My Daughter Lilly...

...is my first child and she will be 6 months old on October 11th! It seems like it's been a long time, but then sometimes it seems like it hasn't been quite that long. She's getting so big and she's growing out of her clothes so fast! She can still fit into some 3-6 months outfits but she mainly wears 6-9 months or even bigger. I had a pair of 18 month pajamas on her on the other night! I think with clothing it just depends on the brand and how they're made. Lilly is able to hold her own bottle, roll over both ways, and she can sit up on her own for awhile but she eventually falls over. She sleeps all through the night usually but when it's time for her to go to sleep, she fights it. It takes me awhile to get her to sleep but I'm definitely glad she sleeps all night. She eats 5-6 ounces of formula mixed with baby oatmeal (every 3-4 hours), eats about half a jar of baby food (she's only had vegetables so far) and drinks 2-4 ounces of baby apple juice. :) How old are your children and what are some things you are proud of them for?

Well great to hear about your baby girl Lily and i am pretty sure she must be very cute and sweet. I wish her all the good wishes for her life and a healthy life ahead. Yes children grow very fast in front of our eyes. For parents no matter how much we have grown, we would always be the same children for them who have grown in front of their eyes right from their beginning. Its like as if they were born yesterday and today they are married and are having kids and this is the essence of life. Don't you think so? What say?

Oh that is so sweet! I can't wait until Lilly starts crawling. She is working on it but hasn't quite figured it out yet. I think she will soon.

My son Paul is going to be six years old on the 13th of October and he just started school in August. Right now I am so proud of the fact that he is learning Spanish so quickly (he is in half-day Spanish, half-day English). Also, he loves baseball and I am so proud of the fact that he is actually starting to really get the sport. My daughter Kathryn is going to be ten in December. She is in fourth grade now and I am really proud of the fact that she is getting good grades this year. I am also proud of the fact that she is growing into a young lady that is going to be very respectful.

That's so great! I would like for Lilly to learn another language when she gets older. I wish I would have learned another myself but I tried Spanish in High School and I just didn't understand it. Lol It's good to hear that your daughter is getting good grades and she is respectful! Most kids these days are so rude. In my opinion, it's their parents' fault because they aren't teaching them manners. My boyfriend's daughter is 4 years old and she is VERY rude! When people give things to her she never says thank you unless someone tells her to. She talks about how she wants to kill Lilly, she hates her, and she doesn't want Lilly in her life. She claims her mother told her to say all that and I believe her. Her mom is also a very rude person.
