I have done lots of craft work from paper flower to fabric flowers to crochet and many more but i had never tried making a bag or purse for myself. Today i looked at some websites and learnt how to make bags and purses. I was happy to see how easily they have explained in detail. I have made one and i was happy to have a new purse. Have you tried new craft things? Have you made a bag or purse for yourself ever? The bags in the market are very expensive and I can see that it is not hard ti make. i will make more. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Handicraft is really a fun hobby and later on can become a productive one. I love crocheting. I always make clothes for myself and everytime I wear it my friends will like and will order. So, I havbe a good stress management activity throught my productive hobbies---not only crochet but also jewelry making.

the internet always has great ideas! i was given a few bags of material from a friend and am not sure what i want to make with it. i was thinking about a crazy quilt or maybe a yoyo blanket covering. both of those crafts would be my first attempt at them so i am not sure. i will probably wait until after CHristmas anyways to get started. it will give me some time to do some research and it will give me time to decide what i want to do.

I've been beading pouches and they look nice, I've also sewn bags, like tote bags in the past, probably will continue to do so as I need to.

I've made multiple market bags. The ones that look like fish netting. But I crochet them. I use different yarn weights so even with the same pattern, I make them so that they are all different. Different colors. Change up the straps to longer or shorter. I've got one purse-type bag started. Will have to figure out how to add a lining once the main body is built. How did you make your bag/purse? Crochet? Sew?

I have made a reusable grocerie bag out of an old pillow case once and it turned out pretty good! It's so much easier making it by sewing machine than by hand! Do u have a picture of the purse u made!? U must be talentedhuh? :) have u tried making them to sell? That would be a good thing if u could sell them online or where u live..

I'm not much of a crafty type person. Honestly, I dont have the patients to do these things. I would get half way then throw it across the room, because it didnt go how I liked it, or I got bored.

my handmade wallet - This is a simple wallet made for my son, made by felt.
I have not made any actual bags for myself, I have seen many of my friends sew the bags, and they are pretty nice. I don't know how to use a sewing machine. Also, currently I am learning how to make toys for my kids. I have made a simple wallet for my son, and a tissue bag for myself, all made by felt.

I love crafting as well. I always made special crafts for my friends as gifts. Every year, I make my own personalized crafts to give for my friends and loved ones. It is because, I want them to feel they are special. I have made bags, coin purse made of yarn. I have made paper swan and baskets for displays too.

Yes I tried making purse by by crocheting. I too made one out of my denim pants and did some embroidery with sequins and beads. It's cute and I love it. How I wish I have more time to focus on my productive hobby!!!

I love craft and crochet. I have not make any purse or bag from long time, but I have made purse, bag, coins purse, cellphone pouch etc. I like when I can make it by myself, I can browse free pattern on internet and use any colours I like. There is free tutorial of making bag from crochet granny square and I would like to make it but I dont have the yarns yet. I dont have enough yarn supplies stock to make big project like bag, so I make smaller project like crochet flower brooches and then selling it. I like to try new craft, I want to learn beading, I want to learn quilt. But I'll learn later after I finished learning how to knit.

Hai friend.. Congrats..You done it..My mother is a teacher of craft works..She makes purses, bags and all such other things..For a competition she taught me that how to make paper bags. Now a days we are suffering from the overuse of plastics. That will surely destroy our soil and there have no any way to destroy plastic after use it.So as for a caring I presented this..That was really fantastic.Judges given me more marks. And I got first prize for that..It is really easy to make.It is very rare now.and so that the sellers put a high cost on this thing. In my view there is only about 10rs. we can carry it for buying vegetables. Then there have an option that to make a costly bag to bring for a function..Will you please take a photo of your purse and post here???Once again congratulations..Thank you..

I make a lot of crafts myself.Usually my granddaughters get everything I make.I keep saying I am gonna make something just for me.But it doesn't work out that way.My granddaughter who is 11 has made a bag for her and one of her friends. Her friends yesterday and hers the day before. She found some blue jean material that I had cut off and asked if she could use to make her a bag for her reading book. She added a pocket to it to the front.I think she made it in less than an hour. She loves to sew and draw. The 8 year old granddaughter loves to draw and take pictures and videos with my camera. To me making stuff that you is a lot more sturdier than what you can buy and not to mention a lot cheaper.

Wow, you're really so talented, I wonder what you'll think of to do next? I never have the talent nor the patience for crafts, well theres this one time I was able to crochet a cellphone holder. They laughed at it because it's not evenly stitched and one end is longer than the other. Guess my idea for a DIY give away is not going to happen, lol!
