One of them is divorced..the drunkard abusive gambler cousin of mine has been divorced by his wife. FINALLY.
Yippeeeeeeee 
I learnt it today and it has made me very happy. He deserved it. One down, a few more to go..

How does it affects you if your cousin has been divorced? It is his life and let him face the consequences of his ill deeds. Don't rejoice, he might come to your house to take a shelter, as his wife has deserted him.

So Vandy has overnight turned into poor thing..lol
Not that I ever relished it. But I realized how important it is to be "poor thing" without being poor in this society..lol

Oops ..I am sorry if I reminded you of your pain. But let me assure you my benefit is essentially my physical, and emotional security apart from some bit financial security which has come from more than 25-30 years of hard work, starvation, and self-deprivation. I must add it was because of my relatives. Sorry once again if I seem to have hurt you. I am sure our stories are opposite.

Hello my friend vandana7 Ji,
Well, Goods and Bads are two sides of same coin. If one compares them with life, on ewill understand them like Nights and Days. Both are equallyu important. It is natural ways of balancing. After churning Occean, everyone wanted Nector, no one dared to take poison, only Lord Shiva took and HE is worshipped even today. Why do you not accept truth of nature.

I don't think it's about you being bad. Firstly their choices were not correct at some point of their life, which might have resulted in divorce.
Coming to your side of the story, I guess any other human being at your position would have thought it in the same way. After all we are human beings and hence we can give back the same thing what we get from other. If a person is bad with me always, I guess I would be bad to him/her too.

I know...but I guess the effect has already started waning. It always does. It is only the initial stages when you feel great, god is on my side, sort of feeling. You feel thankful to god, but yes, we must remember, we are no less sinners.

The wifey was a doctor, he trapped her..she chose to have only one son. She waited for her son to find a decent match. As soon as he got married, she filed for a divorce..lol
Both ex-wife and her son and daughter in law have relocated to another country. But before that she had quite a few buried secrets (including the one about me being abused) to reveal..lol
Now more people are softer towards me..earlier it was an uphill thing all the way..lol
And I dont mind sounding and being devilish in case of people like that.

I have no idea which 30 year old secret has been revealed with your cousin's divorce case, but certainly I feel good for his wife who got freed from such a gambler and drunkard. There is nothing that you should be feeling bad about. He got what he deserved in life.

I have similar case in my family. The wife divorced my cousin because of infidelity few years ago. She took all five kids with her and continued working hard to support them on her own. She proved to my family that he is really a good-for-nothing man. At the last family get together event when another cousin of ours were getting married, she was there doing really well on her own and still very much accepted as part of our family. As for the husband, he did not even show up for his own cousin's wedding; and it seems that no one in the family really care about him anymore knowing what he did to his own wife and children... No need to feel bad...
