What is the cost of living in the Nasu area in Tochigi prefecture?

I am shortly planning to shift into the Nasu area in the Tochigi prefecture. How does the cost of living in this area compare with the say some of the cities such as Tokyo and Utsonomiya? I would be interested in knowing about the house rates, the utility rates and the groceries compared with Tokyo. Cheers! Ram
