Hello lotters, Seems to have new people who waste money trying to get less than an hour of fame in comelec. they said the supporters there were annoying?? One claimed he owned the entire country! he better prove it or he'd be slap in the face first before the chinese ship does Another one claimed to have Kris Aquino as his wife???? good luck I mean, isn't supposed to be Mark Logan reporting these candidates?

they are all going to be proclaimed... nuisance candidates by the comelec, soon as the selection of official candidates were selected. first of all, they should have enough machinery for the national elections.

Hello Neildc, If you ask me, they are more filipino than those who had been in the politic arena for years. I admire their bravery though for standing up but they lack experience and platforms, if they do have the machinery, they will have a chance. unfortunately our people are easily deceived and vote for teh most popular and the most known force of people.

Knight, that how our politics works. We cannot help some people who are just crazy for attention.Methinks that they were ignored by their parents in their childhood.

some of these so-called pan-gulo or nuisance candidates may have more potentials that that of those who are incumbent. Why not also take into consideration the profile of these people maybe we can find a good leader among them.

I want to make some clarification for this, there are those candidates whose profiles are good and maybe potential leaders but they are still called nuisance candidates. We may choose from them.

Well I guess that is part of the election process. Everyone is accepted as candidates until the Comelec decides that you are a nuisance candidate. No matter how obvious everyone will undergo screening under the law before they are disqualified. It is funny there are people who are really putting themselves in this kind of situations where they know they will never win even if they will not be disqualified but still tries to file their candidacy.

Hello rsa101, Well at least it made me laughed once a bit while. yeah they know that pretty well and they are wasting their time. but to entertain us is probably admiring but we need qualified people, too bad they are not and will be mark as a nuisance candidate. i think of those people had been doing that for years

Well, you cannot bar these people from running because some people will cry foul and say 'discrimination'. at top of their lungs. However, I think the public know better. If these candidates want to run, fine. It's their time, money and effort. But let it not be said that there is a discrimination in running. Actually, there is but people try to treat as it doesn't exist. At least, they provide us-with comic relief. It's no fun anyone when the people who win the elections get to do stupid things and get away from it.

Hello Jeanneyvonne, I think they are still wasting time, and yeah because of freedom they might indeed cry out for discrimination. I can't believe people would waste on that they can be off help by volunteering into another kind of charity or ngo to help people and doesn't have to file candidacy. i don't want laugh at them because they are so pitiful

Hello Bhabycatchh013, I wonder what old tactics would that be? less than an hour of fame or a couple days of fame just to fool around? anyways, they are filipinos head to toe, would have been better if they have platforms.

they may be called aspirants but it seems that they are not qualified. In the report their is a man who unfortunately always pass COC every election time and he was always disqualified. LOL. Where's on Earth they come from? I mean why would they still waste their time since they knew they are not qualified.

Hello Mrsuniega, Well, one thing is for sure, he's popular in his neighborhood for keeping his turn to run for public office.maybe it's their habit or something well, like the comelec officer said, it's their right, I wonder if there's a registration fee on that. sadly, i wish they had more better time than just filing for a nuisance candidate

Ha ha. That's one reason I did not tune in to the news on the radio today, I wouldn't want to hear the trapos are making another bid for a chance to make money out of us. I did forget about these nuisance candidates, else I would have turned on the knob and listened. I like the strangers brave enough to run for a seat in congress, for whatever reason, they really amuse me. Look at it this way, at least we know the extent of their insanity, and they are true to their beliefs. The legitimate candidates keep their real characters. Believe me, many are vultures. Sino ang dakila? Sino ang tunay na baliw?

Hello Eileenleyva I thought they're won't another set of nuissance candidates but i guess I was wrong. it's hard to campaign, how much more if your going to run for public office. Indeed, character and experience will determine how a public servant should run our country. though some are experienced, not sure if they have the character enough

Well, another modus or what... Just to ring names of those who are aspiring for any position on next election? huh?

Hello Jaihosis, Well, it would be too stupid for them if it's a modus, basically some politicians use nussiance candidates too just to divert attention for some reason they don't want us to know. well, once they are proclaimed nuissance, then it's the end for them i guess, but it's a free country that they tried.

hi, i have watched that news and they were so funny especially the man who said that he already married to Ms. Kris Aquino, and he already put it in his candidacy form, they are only annoying people and wasting there time, that is why comelec are really careful on choosing for the next candidates.

I think that's free speech although they may seem to be annoying at times.

It is only in the Philippines(I think) that election is a big comedy. Anyway, thank you to those so-called "nuisance candidate" for they add spice to our life during elections!

Hehehe..it's not really funny but I guess that's the best retort, reaction whatsoever..anyone can give! I can't believe there are still people who thirst instant recognition whatever the outcome may be! Quite absurd but I guess the media should have never have wasted showing those video clips. What is happening to our country?
