"Are defeats/failures necessary?"

Hi prashu, That is an interesting thought, but isn't it like wanting to go back and live our lives over, while remembering the mistakes we made before? The fact is we would know nothing about failure if we didn't experience it and we would have nothing with which to compare successs. If we never felt pain, could we appreciate good health? Blessings.

Yes, life would be a real bed of roses if there were no failures, pains or defeats. But it would be a real boring world if everything went the way we wanted it to each and every time. Life isn't like that. We need alittle strife to keep us interested in striving harder.

Personally prashu, there was a time when dad lost his job and the going was very very tough for us. Then came a time when he got a good job, much better paying one, than the previous one. He also realized that he was banking on his relatives and sending his savings across for retirement and my future, but that was never going to materialize. So he stopped sending money across to relatives. Moral of the story, had he not lost the job, he would be pauper when he retired. While the new job was short term, it gave us greater scope to establish ourselves and conserve our monies.

prashu: I have not come across a person who has not met failures. If a person succeeds in business and official life he fails in personal life. if he succeeds in personal life he fails in business. It is easy as A.B.C. to envy highly successful people who have reaped laurels in their fields. What is not often realised is that the secret of their success stories lies in their indomitable courage, working hard like blazes, and persistence in the face of overwhelming odds. For years on end hey have been enduring failure and frustration. The common denominator of their dazzling success stories is their point-blank refusal to give up and this quality enabled them in the end to turn failure to success. Their motto was: “Stick to it and you will achieve your aim.” The secret of their success can be put in six little words: Never let down! Never let up. Again if a person wins or succeeds in the end most of us will appreciate. Some people fail many times in business and then people will tell he has not learnt from experience and has been failing quite often. he should have given it up earlier itself. Where to give up -- it differs from person to person. it also depends on his dependence on this one work. I normally try three times and if I fail I stop trying further. Even a dog will come near its master only when he is given attention to. similarly we will also approach people many times only when they give some attention or hope. But youngsters should have an ability to try and try for a few times but try with changed strategy and sincerely.

In any aspects of life, there is always a negative and a positive. You cannot recognize success if you do not understand failures. I think we cannot appreciate success if we don't under go sacrifices.

failures and defeats make people appreciate the success that they manage to achieve after having go through so much hardship. Most people if they got succeeded without experiencing these, they would not appreciate what they have achieve and eventually they lost everything they had. Yet, I still prefer to achieve success without having to go through defeats or failures.

Well, all I think, who know that life is full of joys and sorrows! Every human being is, in the course of its existence encounter insolvencies and failures, but leave a mark, that is, give an important lesson. Continuing, however, it also leads to "success", certainly not without a little effort! Always find everything ready, without any risk, is not the stuff of this world. I know however that often, the challenges that life puts our meeting, are sometimes very painful! I could make for this an infinite number of examples.

If you never had failures you might just not appreciate working hard for success. I've been successful and I've had failures. My failures just spurred me on to work harder.

Yes, had failures been not there we all can escape from distress, heart attack, strokes, blood pressure , mental tiredness , frustration, bad emotions, insomnia and many other issues. But God is not ready to offer good things alone . He wants to play with us and that's why many genuine people suffer in this world . Thats why many poor people always remain poor and rich people become rich and rich again.

Hi, Everyone has to face failure in his life. Failure is simply an opportunity to begin again and this time more intelligently. Mistakes, failures and rejections are the part of the progress and growth. nobody ever achieved anything worth without facing these things.

Hi friend, there is no thrilling in the life which don't have any failures. Our failures are our experience and we learn a lot of things from it. The person who always get success don't have the ability to learn a lot, but the person who is facing failures in his life will learn a lot from his failures and mistakes and rectify his faults to get the success

failure makes us to shape our life. Every failure teaches good things and if you did not get a lesson from it the things will continue until you realise the fact in that matter.
