hi mylotters,
Mylot is one of the best place where you can stay anonymous you can even make stories here of who you are, what you have or where you've been. Just be careful that you will not mess around and be caught as a FAKER I mean most members choose not to put their real avatar or even share their facebook account or personal information about them to maintain their anonymity which is good but if you will invite a friend, chat mate, family members and you are telling all this crap here for sure your day here will be DOOM.
You will never know they might end up having a topic about your crap here, or even laughing about you as you talk your sh*t*y stories here.
Glad I only invited few friends here and they are not active here

some of my friends and some of my family members know... and some of them have participated here but only became active for a time. i didn't and haven't shared this site with my bf. coz he was in my earlier discussions before when i used to make a few that is. i didn't share this site with friends from work, too. as i deemed it TMI and unethical in my line of business. but fb is pretty much open.
i have nothing to hide and all i've ever written in mylot is about me, my life, my ideas and a piece of my mind. what i am in mylot is pretty much the same me in fb and also for real. although i don't share "all" coz i still value what little privacy an open book has to offer.

There will always be some on the internet who are not being who they are in real life.
I see what you mean though because if I had some family and friends here I may not like to discuss as much and i would feel self concious about what I'm talking about.

Well it is the internet. That means we can say whatever we want and there is no real way to prove any of it. I don't have anything to hide here. I also don't share really personal things here either. I enjoy just being light and not too serious on here.

None of my relatives of friends is here on mylot and even if I invited a few friends in the past, they just did not continue. I have friends here on mylot, who were strangers to me, when I joined but now they have become part of life.
They know many things about me and I know a lot about them.

In fact, I love the anonymity when I surf throughout internet. Though I never misuse this anonymity to do something much offensive, I feel comfortable to not sharing any private information about me.
And in a side note, that's why I never invite my relatives to join myLot though. :P

This is an interseting point really and i have never realy given it much thought but i suppose you do get a lot of fakers on here, which is sad really because why do they feel the need to lie. I think that Sharing different experiances with other mylott users is the best thing about the site so when people lie they only spoil it for themselves and others.

That is true and when these people lie and lie then just make themselves look stupid when they get found out so it just spoils it for the rest off us.
