Going the Way of the Dinosaur.

It seems that some things are going the way of the dinosaur. I know that not all things last forever, but what about good things. I am still waiting to go to my first drive in. Jazz on the radio is getting harder and harder to get. I think about the past and how some things were just so classic and timeless. Is there going to be an R&B revolution? Well, at least I can listen to classic rock.

I looks to me that only mechanical and electronics are going obsolete without ever having a chance for revival. For these things, there is no point in reintroducing them because there is already a better one available. As an example, why would a company invest on those mainframe computers if there is a stand alone PC (Server) that cost a fraction of the cost and do the same thing. There are also things like fashion, music, dance steps that can be revived. These things can't be completely become obsolete. There is a chance that it can be the fad again. If not, anyone can go to his own room and listen to whatever music or dance to whatever dance they like.

I agree. You can almost say that dance is immortal. Electronics can literally become so useless it becomes a memory. I like seeing how things evolve, and sometimes that means seeing how they use to be.
