Have you ever experienced that you were not able to sit on the seat number that you buy online..?

I've never flown AirAsia; but I've always been able to sit on the assigned number whenever I fly JetStar which, I think, is a similar low budget airline you can book online.

Just wondering to myself... What's with this number '7' at the end of all three usernames on this discussion so far...?

It's not really my favorite number. It's part of my username as the whole thing has some meaning known only to me... So, where did you travel to with AirAsia? It seems you still had a good trip even though they reassigned your seat.

yes, I had an experienced when I traveled one time and my seat number was between a husband and wife, the wife asked me if I will agree with her to surrender my seat number so that she could sit beside her husband..

wow, I am glad to hear that from you.. but you know what at first I really felt sad because I had bought my seat online and I was not able to sit during the flight.... but anyway we arrived and landed safely...and thanks to the AirAsia cabin crew they were very friendly they allow me to find a seat for my convenience...

I asked for a window seat and one next to it as near to the front as possible. It was okay from the Seychelles to Nairobi but then the airline tried to get us in the middle seats. I said no thanks and they moved us to better seats. They should have let us sit in the seats I had booked.
