i am trying to do speed reading

i do not know if i would be able to understand what i have been reading if i would do speed reading. since i have lots of things to read and i would like to learn a lot of things on this one particular subject. so i hope that i would be able to read fast enough without sacrificing the quality of my study of this particular subject. reading so slowly is boring and makes me want to sleep.

I am a one who just read with an average speed, This type of reading can help me to understand what I read but when I read too fast I can't get nothing. On fast reading, I can keep on reading with the fast but understand properly what it meant.

Just build up to it a little at a time. Speed read and then think about it at the end of each paragraph.
Another way to keep things interesting it to read the first sentence, make a question out of it and see if the paragraph answers the question.

Yes, it is very boring to read slowly. But that doesn't mean that you have to read too much fast. Reading normally is quite enough to complete a book in a perfect timing. If you read fast to understand, then maybe you have to read twic. The important thing is to understand what you read. So concentrate more on understanding the matter while reading one time.
