Why Doesn't God Upgrade Humanity if He Wants Us to Be So Good?

St. Paul says in 2nd Corinthians 4:7 "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us." But wait! Didn't God MAKE the earthen vessels? Or does God now deny having made them?

He should I know I would. How proud can He be with humans that happily destroy the earth. And have some that don't even believe G-d exists. I wouldn't blame Him is He just walked away. But I do think the tree of knowledge nonsense was a set up! And even since He kicked Adam and Eve out of heaven, He gave up the roght to assume we All will be good.

Thanks for the best response! We already have dismiss G-d from our garden. We are not Farmers and herders anymore. Most of us live On the land and not With the land. Many just write G-d in for an hour on Sunday and that's it! So in a way G-d is dismissed.

Right. Makes one think about "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you": if G-d 'does unto us' ejection from the Garden, does that mean He 'would have us' eject him from OUR Garden?

God gave us mind to think which is good and bad, upgrading ourselves is no longer his duty.He created us with all his might and his grace been given to us.If God upgrade "HUMANITY" how would be a human responsibility? Would it be nice to let God witness his people pleasing him according to his will? Have a happy mylotting!

We have power over ourselves, and we can change our hearts with Gods help, if we desire to change. God doesn't expect perfect, for He alone is perfect. He desires us to do our best to be better Christians every day. It is difficult because we have so many gods we worship; what will people think if I act differently is one deity we pay homage to. I don't WANT to give that up is another. By giving our lives over to God, we are allowing Him to work in us, and great miracles do follow if only we are obedient. God bless you!

But why doesn't He MAKE US do as He wills? And how do we know he's not speaking to us through the great gifts He gives unto us (as Adam thought He was doing when Eve gave him of the Fruit of the Tree of The Knowledge)? Sure, you can say 'it was going against G*d's Word to Adam; but is that to say that G*d CAN'T change His mind?
