The West Indians were celebrating their world cup win, I think it was Darren Ganga who flashed the placard with'Its Sweeter From Behind' written on it. Is he advocating gay rights? what was he trying to say?

I do not think it was Darren Ganga as he was not with the Windies team. I think it was Dinesh Ramdin. I think it was as a wicket keeper where he was behind the wicket. But of course, it could have any other interpretation like the one that you mentioned. Cheers! Ram

Thanks for posting this discussion. Well i think this has nothing to do with the gay rights. I think he was saying that even though the victory was a hard fought for the West Indies had gone through the situation over the years, there was always sweetness and hope in the minds of the player to reach the top and rule the cricket world that never showed up and this was the reason why they won the world cup in style. What say?

I miss the 'ton' from your 'thanks a ton for posting this discussion'. LOL! Jokes apart, you don't have to thank everyone personally for posting threads here. May earn you a negative ratingif mylotters think it is being overdone. Yeah, you may be right. Coming from behind and surprising the current leaders of world cricket could be the message.
