A few weeks ago, the fan in my computer started to get noisey. Then I realized, we hadn't ever cleaned the dust out of the inside(have had it about a year now). So we cleaned it, it sounds better, but still noisey. Started completely shutting it down at night when were done using it(I read somewhere you're best to leave it just logged off?) Getting an error message on start up, something about fan is running too slow. Does this mean it's gonna take a dump on me soon, and I'll need to replace the fan? Or is it another problem? And, any idea on the costs for that?(US $$)

Thanks for your reply! But do you know what's causing it? I'm not really all that computer literate, I know how to use it for the most part, that's about it lol. Also, it's a desk top, Sony Vaio if that means anything.
