A mistake that makes us humble is much better than an achievement that makes us arrogant but in real life at times, you have to lose to win. Self-worth comes from believing, that you are worthy. In this world full of worries; running away from ones problems, is a race, which one can never win. My wife says, "I do not care when you disturb me, but, I get disturbed when you don’t disturb me, because; love is like a violin; the music may stop now and then, but, the strings remain forever”. I agree to her sayings fully. Please share your views and comments on this. Thanks in advance. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead. October 15, 2012

When taken at face value, that is a very beautiful saying. However, I think that there is some error to this saying in that though theoretically the strings of a violin should be in place forever, there are times that they do get broken. However, there again, it does show a great parallel with life because there are relationships that we have in our lives that come to an end and those relationships are replaced with new relationships.

hello, what you said above is highly correct. a mistake that changes a person in a better way is far more better than any kind of achievement that makes a person arrogant. thats a very good thought and it depends on the people that are affected by the mistake. if they are ready to forgive the person then i think it is a very good way of changing a person. people should be able to forgive others and take into consideration the positive effects of doing that. i think if the mistake is worth forgiving then forgiving the person who realizes his mistake is very good deed. everyone should learn to do that.

You are right Sir. I totally agree with you. Doing mistake is bad, but not learning from that mistake is very very bad. There will be many ups and down in our life. If we stop at our down by thinking that i cannot do, then how we will see the ups. In one of the hit old film Baazigar there is a dialogue, " Haar kar jitne wale ko baazigar kehte hai". I believe this. Sometimes losing something gives much more pleasure than winning.
