I am teaching the new girl to close Thursday

Since I had that talk with my manager about the other lady. She was counting the money ebfore the store was closed, how I was so confused while she was closing and how this lady is suppose to teach this girl how to close.
She came up to me today, and said that she may get me to teach her how to close. Now I've only been working there since the beginning of August.
So she is suppose to call me tomorrow, and then I will be given a key.

That is amazing that you've just had the opportunity to close by yourself for the first time and they are already asking for you to teach the other person to close as well. It shows that you definitely did a good job with the work that you've been doing. It also shows that the owners of the store really feel like they are able to count on you since they are going to be giving you a key to the building. That is a responsbility that I would never want to have.

I guess it was good you did visit with the manager. I hate when people do not do things "by the book" but take short cuts that can mess things up. It is a good thing that you can handle responsibility and the fact that you have worked in such a variety of environments means that you have quite a few adaptable skills.
