To be honest, I don't really understand your question. EBay's an auction site like any other. The "profit" from bidding is if you win the item. Certainly you can bid if you're in India, there's even an Indian eBay site here: http://www.ebay.in/ Hope this helps.

Hi friend, Even i saw these bids on ebay. But i don't know anything about this and also have many doubts. I even tried to buy some items but there was some problem. I have a plan to sell some items , but don't have any knowledge so not able to take any further step. I am also from India.

Just watch a few things when you bid: If you win the bid it is final and you are obliged to pay for the item; second, the shipping cost may surpass the bidding price, not to mention the tariffs and duties in your country and you end up paying more than what you bid for; and third, there are suppliers that cannot ship to some countries for one reason or another so even if you win the bid, you shall not get the item in that case.

I am an eBay seller in the U.S., but I purchase goods from eBay sellers in India all the time! I do know that Indian users are able to bid in MOST auctions, though some sellers are not willing to deal with international shipping. Just make sure that you have an active PayPal account. Also, in order to increase your likelihood of winning the bid, make sure that you pay on time and leave feedback so that they will also leave kind feedback for you!

Obviously Indians can participate too. But make sure the seller ships it to India. Another, Trick about bidding on ebay is to bid when the auction is to be shutting soon because thats when the actual action occurs.People do make profit or else it would have been removed long time back .
