Was watching the news, and see that New Jersey is getting hit with effects of Hurricane Sandy already. There's flooding already of 2 ft from the river and the ocean. I wonder how that'll effect the fish and other wildlife when the saltwater mixes with the river?

I've been watching the weather channel off and on all evening. It looks really scary on the east coast! I don't know how it will affect the fish and wildlife, but this is nature, so we can only watch and wait.

So the storm already past by us - thank goodness it didnt do to much damage to houses or streets this time. Living in florida we already know how the hurricanes are and are prepared every summer to take what they bring. It might not be the best but i do try to keep the house in good oncidtions and not much stuff outsdie during this time of year as well. Im glad the storm didnt do to much this time to us because the last storm that came through a month ago caused a lot of street damage where i live and flooding everywhere i wasnt sure i was even going to make it home to my boyfriends then. I know its flooding really bad there and i hope they dont go out in the weather and stay put where they are so they dont get hurt or have anything wrong to there cars.
