It's best to start by buying a few things through eBay before you start selling. That will build up your reputation and get you used to the bidding process and general layout of the site. Then when you decide to start selling, most people start by listing stuff they own that they don't want anymore. Once you've had a bit of experience, you'll know what you want to sell.

I've been on eBay for sometime. In fact I'm trying to earn a living as a full-time eBay seller at the moment, but it's early days yet. It takes time for a business to build up, but it gives me something to work towards.

I have used eBay before, but it has been a while. I love eBay even though I do not have the money to buy anything right now. It is a legit company and I know many people who use eBay. I am not sure what is selling the most, but you can always check it out.

Yes, Ebay is indeed a reputable and legit retail site. You can register there as a Seller or as a Buyer. The payment for purchasing and for payment is made through their partnership with paypal so, you are ensured that your money has gone to the seller and the buyer... usually all items on ebay are for shipping since majority of the sellers are from different countries. It is easy to sign-up and to sell on ebay it's just like setting up a blogsite it has the basics and the good thing is that they will review you and you can rate the seller.
