Your very first digital camera?

My very first digital camera is a canon in early 2000's, when digicam is a brand new thing. The shape is a bit bold and it's pretty 'huge', really different than digital camera in 2012. How about you?

It was 2004-2005-2006ish... when it wasn't that new anymore, but still new-ish. By the time I got mine everyone in the class had one. I still use this one. I remember taking photos of everything when I got it, because it was so cool that I don't have to spare the films and wait for the perfect shot, and if a pic is weird I can delete it. Also, it was so cool that I could make hundreds of pictures... not only 24 bc. a roll of film contained place for 24 pics in my old camera. But nowadays I want to get and oldschool polaroid, because that's so retro and fun :).

Well, counting on my cameras the first camera that i had was a 90's Pentax Film SLR camera. I had it when i was learning photojournalism as one of our majors in my College course. But my very first digital camera was a Kodak Easy Share i forgot the unit model but it was fairly decent 7 megapixel then i upgrade it with a Canon A590is a cool canon digital camera that has manual mode it was a gift from my Sister abroad. After the point and shoot cameras i owned, i shifted to bridge cameras which is far more reliable since it is a DSLR-like type of camera i owned a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ45 and a Fujifilm Finepix s2950 they both are good camera running with a decent super telephoto zoom range. with HD video capabilities. Right now i have a Canon EOS 1100d a prosumer camera with a telephoto lens. Cameras are great tools to capture and create unforgettable moments. Have a great day!

I bought my first digital camera back in 2002, I believe. It was very compact and had an all metal body. It was a good little camera, but after the sliding door on it broke in 2005 (or was it 2006?), I decided to upgrade to a new one shortly after that. And even though it's compact it's still bigger than my first one. Happy mylotting!

My digital camera is kind of bulky compared to the ones they sell now. In technology it seems everything gets smaller and handier over time, and it only takes a year or two for the newest thing to be outdated.

My first digital camera is a canon ixus digicam, which gave by my Japanese friend last 2003 and still working up to now. The camera is very durable and very handy, although i have a new camera but i still using the old one especially when i am going out of town. My first camera helped me a lot especially when i was studying and doing reports in the depressed community where we need to shot some photos..

My very first digital camera was way back 2003 a point and shoot Olympus camera. It malfunctions a bit now and the USB cord connector is already lost somewhere. It still works but it is obviously not in good condition anymore. I have replaced it with a Nikon dslr last year and now my lil sister now uses my old cam since she wants to practice because it seems she is taking a liking to photography.
