To my dear computer, stop hanging, stop lagging, stop glitching and for the Love of God please work. Seriously I just upgraded you and you are still messy. Clean up your act! Stop being annoying,The moment I turn you on, instead of being usable right away you will display that darn hourglass logo instead of y computer mouse arrow. That's not all, whenever have to play games using you, I have to make sure the games graphics is set to low or else you are not going to work. Please start working! If you dont want to be in the dumpster anytime soon. If you dont listen to my threats, enjoy the dumpster. Work dammit!!! Your Owner, Albert

To my dear owner Thanks a ton for upgrading me. But dear, dont you realize that I too need a vacation and a holidaying somewhere around? You have been using me more than my capacities since so many hours and that too working with only sites that you need to work upon or doing the work that pleases you... Btw, can you please send in your request to me in machine language so that I can understand that better... Your Owned, Loving Computer.

I have enjoyed this witty discussion. I, too have had similar complaints about my computer in the past. You may want to download a free program called malwarebytes. You can scan your computer with it and it will remove any malware found and repair registry errors. Did I mention it was free. Another source of information I have found very useful is a newsletter by Bob Rankin. It is also free. Sign up for his newsletter and ever so often you will get an email with different computer related information. Some of it may not be useful to you but some of it will.

I had not heard of that brand. I hope it works out for you.

Its not a brand, when you say Alienware it means a computer meant for games, they are much stronger than a regular computer.

I am planning to purchase an Alienware computer and hope it works better. I want a computer that is useful for at least a decade, not something that will disfunction in 5 years. I hope Alienware computer is the best answer to my problems.

I would think it would be less expensive to just buy a new computer.

I don't know about Steam, but most game sellers have a key number for each purchase and will allow you to put the games on at least three different computers. If you still have the key numbers, you should be able to transfer the games to a new computer.

I am considering that but I purchased games from Steam, and steam are games in digital form. They were quiet expensive.

Ahhh, wouldn't it be nice if all computers worked perfectly and didn't lag? My laptop has been doing this like crazy lately and it's very frustrating. It's about 2 and a half years old and I feel that every week I'm either downloading the system updates or updating my flash player. If I don't do that, then my laptop will work EXTREMELY slow and take forever and show the rainbow wheel instead of the hourglass. It's very frustrating and I always enjoy the few days I do have when my laptop acts like normal. I hope you're having better luck with your computer and it stops giving you problems!

having a laggy computer is like being a parent of rebellious teens, The headache and stress these computers cause is just not worth it at all. I consider replacing this computer but I am such a cheapskate, I have to save money for a better future. as long as my computer can still work despite of the lags, I will give it a chance.

I'm just like you. As frustrating as it is, it still seems to work ok once I update the computer a few times a week. I just don't see the point in buying a whole new computer if the one I have now still works even though it lags a few times a week.

Is it an old one? Maybe it's time for a whole computer. I just bought an HP tower 2 months ago. I had a Dell but it was pretty old and I think I was killing it. So, now it sits alone in a corner of the basement, gathering dust. It worked really good for a lot of years. But I'm very computer illiterate and have nobody to help me so I hope this HP lasts for a long time. The friend who helped me before and set up the HP for me has seemingly disappeared. I can't afford to have someone fix it as they charge so much. And I understand your frustration. There are few things that anger people more than a computer problem. And I have thought of the hammer thing myself at times.

Dear Windows user. Have you considered switching to Linux? That's what I did, and that was a very smart move. No more glitching, lagging or frustration:) Here, watch this video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=O8-bv0z_pWI&feature_pvcp In this video a few people are talking about why linux is better than windows. The screencast is from an operating system called Ubuntu. By the way, most all linux operating systems are free. And if you have the budget for it, just buy a MacBook. Mac comes with OSX Mountain Lion, which also is (in my opinion) better than windows. Sure the Mac is a bit expensive, but the operating system itself is pretty cheap. I believe I upgraded to Mountain Lion for only $15.

Can you read minds? How did you know I am a Windows user without me telling you. Yes indeed I am a Windows user. i may consider converting once i have enough cash, I guess its time to save some cash for greener pastures. All that errors, registry problems and lags really drives me insane, all the things I am going through now is really drying my patience.

You just converted me from this bad religion, I will have my baptism soon and join the Church of Linux or Church of Mac. for Now I will stick with Windows until I have enough cash for the change that I need so much. I want something I can use for long term. It seemed like you have a bad relationship with windows in the past.

I knew because windows is the only hanging, glitching and crashing operating system:) Because in order to get a glitchy and frustratingly slow mac or linux, you'd have to manually install viruses and do a lot of terrible stuff on purpose. Because to install or do system changes administrative settings, you'll have to type in your password. And in windows, you are basically logged in as an administrator all the time, and that's why all these viruses and malware from internet sites can creep in and mess up your system.

I imagine that most of us have made similar threats to our computers at some time, sadly the computer seems to totally ignore us and carry on being a real pain. It is not just computers, all machines seem to possess the ability to drive us crazy and pay no heed to our complaints. In fact, the biggest culprits tend to be vending machines which will happily take your money and then totally refuse to dispense what we have bought.

I think I could write the same letter to my computer with minimal corrections. Anyway, I think, if my computer has the capability,it will write a same letter with the thinks it s doesn't like me as a computer user. I think it will be a long list on both sides but in the end, we'll still be working together. But yes, my computer does seems to be the problem (or the start of (most of the time).

My computer treats me like how Chris Brown treats Rihanna. With the daily glitches I experience, I am sure if my computer have a mind of its own, It doesn't like me. I hate glitchy computers.
