I am a little angry today. My leader asked me to take part in a meeting which was his job. Ok, I got the meeting then. That was a very long meeting taken me almost 2 hours. What was that about? That was about filling some tables we fill every year. But this year the tables are a little different from that of previous year. So, the first Half was how important the table were and the other half of the meeting was about how different between the tables of this year and last year. But I only care about how I should fill the tables. However, the holders of the meeting didnt mention it at all. My 2 hours, I am really a little angry. Fortunately , I have mylot to tell my anger. And now, I am better now. Thank you, My lotters. So, I also tell me that before we do anything, we must know what we are going to do, what can we deal with by the things we are going to do. So, we can do things more effectively.

Those who come here merely to earn could take a cue from you about the usefulness of myLot. One can open up here without the fear of anyone criticising. In fact many will rally round and console the user when a situation such as your arises.

I just come across these proverbs here and there. I have not gone for Chinese literature. Another one of the Chinese proverbs which I often refer goes something like this. It concerns those who give charity. "Give them a fishing tackle and not just fish" There is so much of wisdom in this saying.

Today's paper had the following Chinese proverb: "If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow. "

The best way to ease anger, is Take a break... cool your mind off with something, divert your anger with something that would give you positive vibes. Remember that the best revenge is through your success, don't do something that can rush things and would make it more worse. Be silent and let success do the its magic.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it is the most effective relief if you are in an angry mood. Sometimes divert your mind on something else will help you ease that anger. Let your success be your sweetest revenge on something. Keep in mind that Karma's a b*tch it will happen naturally don't make it rush because all is in faith. :)

Dear Huazhao, I could understand your feelings. There is no point and come out any good solution to solve the problems in a long meeting. It really makes someone angry who is efficient. In my mind, you should "put up your hands" to remind them the goal of the meeting when it is off topic. Maybe they could get down to the theme soon and finally avoid the anger. Yes, if you want to get over it, we could share with our friends, control ourselves. But i think the most important thing we should do is to play an active part in it and make it further step. Have a nice day.

Anger is part of man's nature. I guess it's just normal for us to be angry at times since we have emotions. We get angry when are triggered with hurt and resentment. But there is always a way to control this nature. Breathing out and thinking twice before we act are just some of them. After all, anger wouldn't give us anything good. It can even make things worse. I'm glad you were able to control your anger. MyLot is really such a big help for all of us. :)

As a stay-at-home mother,I plan to return to the workplace next year. How to deal with the annoying things and people is unavoidable part of our work.In my opinion,we should think more about what we can do with the offender and do not make decisions while angry.Cultivation of some hobbies can also add joy to our lives. By the way,I'm also from China.Glad meeting you here...

It is really hard to focus on something if we feel bad. So, I guess the best way to get over the anger is to think of other things instead.

Anger is there for a reason so I suggest you take it/yourself seriously. That will be a good start since many people who are angry are never taken seriously by their family/friends/co-workers etc. So ask yourself why you are angry, how you can change that but most of all: if it's always for a same kind of reason. I think the most important thing is to stand up for yourself. If you don't do that nobody will. I am seldom angry, but if it has mostly to do with the way my kids are treated or something in the past (a long long time ago). In the first case I try to figure out if I am overdoing (so I talk with others) and if it's worth fighting for (it mostly is) in the last case I want to be on my own (alone) for some time and I tell my family/kids they should not disturb me for some time (I stay in my bedroom).

Dear, thank you. But I was angry because the way they think about things was different from me. I think the meeting should about how we should fill the tables. I really don't like to waste time and I also don't like to work with the people who is very slow in doing things. Anyway, I like doing things effectively.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i know that u loose your calm easily and also is a short tempered person and many of us are also of your types but sometimes we have to have a control over our emotions for it might hurt someone or in the long run create disturbances in the relationship. There are many people who are deeply attached to us and they would not embrace this behavior of us. What say?

Hi friend, hope you are cool now, some times we will get irritation and anger if we are in need to deal with unexpected things, as your leader give away his work to you, it is the main reason for your anger as well as the meeting is not in your expected way, some times we are in need to face this kind of unwanted things. Be cool and come out from your anger, now you are in mylot, it is the best place to get relaxation

Unfortunately sometimes part of life is doing things we do not want to do. I've been to several boring meetings myself. I've actually sat through two hour briefings that didn't in anyway apply to my job. Rather then get angry about it though I just accept the fact that sometimes its just something we all have to deal with. If its not that simple for you I'd just try to relax as soon as you get home or maybe even after the meeting listen to some music or take a little break. I know how dry those long meetings can be.

Didn't you get angery when you see your time is flying away from your life. How did you do that. I couldn't find a way to feel better during the hard time.
