iam a chinese girl . the on-line recognition of a canadian foreign friens ;i am only a college student , and to make practice my english and improve myself i talkded with him .as a friends , his hometown is taiwan m he said thar shortly will come to beijing to visit me . he aslo said that i am a very cuty little girl ,and love me , but i only make him as ,my friend , if he real comes to beijing , what should i do . ?

Do NOT give him any personal information (such as your street address or where you work/study or anything like that). If he wants to meet you (and you want to meet him), then make sure that you take a friend or family member with you and meet in a PUBLIC place (such as a cafe, restaurant or some such place). Make it clear that you don't mind being friends but there is very definitely nothing more to it than that.
It IS possible to make good and sincere friends through the Internet but, especially if someone says that you are a "cuty little girl" and that he "loves" you, you can be pretty certain that he is NOT looking for just 'friendship'!

There is nothing wrong with making and meeting friends, so long as you are sure of yourself and in control of the situation!

thank you for your good advice . i remembered it i never talked about love during my school time , i am 20 years old as a college student , not had boy friend , may be you are right , NO thsnks is usually the safest to day .

It sounds like he has a not so good plan so better be careful. You seemed like an innocent girl so you must not easily trust anyone. It's always better to be safe than to be sorry later on. It's better that before you decide to meet him, you already know him well. So better not to meet him too soon. Don't always agree with what he say or offer. It's really hard to trust anyone nowadays. oh oh, must be a bad situation for you. anyway have you seen the guy on video cam at least? Just my advice to you is do not go to meet him alone because you can't trust anyone, really! Since you do not have a feeling for him, and he has a feeling for you, you must take care. I am so confused what else to tell you. other mylotters may come up with a better idea. Well, is it safe for me to assume that you will be meeting him face to face for the first time??? Then you don't know him that well, I suggest you meet up with him in a public place. Do not give where you live, just meet. And if you want, ask a friend to be with you guys, the o the merrier! And try to relax and have fun, who knows, he might be a nice guy and turn out to be a good friend. Just don't be too trusting but don't be too uptight.

I think you can meet him, and take him to visit populer place in beijing. During this period,you can know him more about his personality,character,than you decided if he suit as your boyfriends.

You must be careful and do not tell him your detail information. Though you have taked him on line and saw him in the video, you do not know his real idea. If he came to Beijing, you may be find an excuse and do not meet him. Or you can bring some friends to meet him. Be happy.

I've met people online before so I don't see a problem with it. In face with the popularity of online dating people meet each other in real life after speaking on the internet all the time. The only thing I'd suggest is make sure you meet him in a public place. If you're really that nervous you could probably bring a friend the first time you meet. How long have you been talking to him? If its been awhile and you feel you know him well again I don't see a problem with it. Good Luck
