I don't watch TV via my mobile phone since i don't have any app. that enables me to do so, however, i do browse videos via youtube mobile whenever i am in a wifi enabled place such as cafe's or malls. But i guess you can find lots of apps including TV apps on mobile9.com it's a free opensource app. download site for android and other phone devices.

You are very much welcome! Yes, mobile devices are not that convenient to use for watching or viewing videos, however if you consider mobility and handheld devices, it's better than having none. Have a great day!

Actually it's not very satisfactory to watch a movie on a mobile phone but I have a tablet with Android so I thought it would be quite nice to be able to watch a movie on my tablet. I also use YouTube to look at music videos and such. I'll go to the website that you've mentioned and see what other apps would interest me. Thank you heaytheblogger.

I haven't watched a full movie on my iPhone yet but I do watch music videos. I just use the built-in app of Apple and the built-in Youtube app.

Yes, I also use the YouTube app. There are some full length movies on YouTube but not that many and most of them are classics because I guess their copyright had expired so it's legal to show them on YouTube. I'm looking for other apps that can show full length movies on my mobile phone so that I can watch these movies on my phone.

I've seen some full movies on Youtube too but I watched them on my laptop. I saved an episode of a tv series on my phone but was not able to watch it, and instead watched it on the tv. I still prefer watching movies and tv shows on a larger screen. Also if I'm just with my phone what I usually do to kill time is to go to myLot. I don't really have time to watch full movies on my phone.

A lot of mobile phones do not need a special app to play a movie, in fact my Nokia N8 will happily play a movie via the installed software. I have taken a few amusing videos to work to show to work colleagues, but I would not watch a full movie on my mobile phone. I do not see the point of watching a movie on a small screen when I can play the same movie on a 42 inch television.

What software is that? Is it only available for a Nokia phone and not on other smartphones?

Till now I haven't watched even a single movie in my mobile phone by streaming the video. This is because I am using a slow network. But I have seen movies in mobile after downloading it fully. But honestly I don't like see it in mobile phones as the screen will be small. I prefer watching movies in big screens or TV. But what to do when I am on move I have to rely on my mobile phone. Anyways it helps me not to sit idle. :)

Actually watching a movie or video on a small screen makes the images much clearer but it's quite unsatisfying because of the small image. But like you've said, it's better than sitting idly waiting to reach your destination on the bus or in the train.

I use to watch the tv on my phone, plus watch a few of those comedy sketches,it was great as no matter where I was I could always get to watch something. I have never down loaded a ap to watch a movie, also I would not know where to start to do it.

So how do you watch the tv show on your phone? Do you use a website to do that? Is the streaming slow?

I do go and find movies on YouTube. I like watching YouTube movies through the YouTube app because the streaming is very fast. It's even faster than watching YouTube videos on the computer.

I have watched movies and videos on my phone. I did install netflix on my phone, and the 4.8 inch screen, it works really great. I also will watch things on youtube as well. There phones that aren't compatible with watching movies and tv shows. I don't watch them though, when I am home, only when I am out and about, and not close to my computer. It is a mazing what you can do on phones nowadays, as it is hard to keep up with technology, as it moves way to fast. Technology changes faster than I like, and I just can't keep up with it. Take care, and have a great day.

I have an Android device that I use so that I can browse the Internet on my LCD tv. I found an app that will allow you to watch movies and tv shows with your Android device. The app is called videomix. It's free to install. Just look for it at the Play Store.

Thank you Umi. I've downloaded the app and am trying it out. It does seem to have quite a lot of movies to watch.
