They lost 1 - 2 in the last round with a late winner goal by Barca. But they showed a good performance in the game with a Georgios Samaras goal made them in the lead. They got only 18% possession in the game which became the worst record in the Champions League history but they almost got 1 points from Barca. Now it is their home game and they are 1 -0 in the lead currently with a V. Wanyama goal. Could they keep the result to the end or at least secure 1 point from one of the greatest team in the world? Let's see

I am responding after the match. Celtic went on to record a fantastic win over Barcelona. The result increases Celtic's chances of qualifying for the next round. Now this makes the final round of matches. Cheers! Ram

Yes. Now I think that Barcelona and Celtic would qualify together! The only group which is still in a complex situation is the group of Chelsea and Juventus. I think the result might be that only one of them could succeed to qualify!

Well, in fact Barca always lose games in such a model. The opposite team just let Barca control the whole middle field and two sides of the field. What they need to do is to put a lot of players in front of the door and let Barca to pass the ball. Because Barca is in lack of tall strikers so they would feel hard to win the ball. And the defenders in front of the door would try their best to prevent the ball passing of Xavi and Iniesta. And then they would have a chance to win Barca. In my opinion, Barca really need a tall striker. They should buy someone no matter who is him. They could buy Bendtner if Arsenal no longer wants him. But the main problem is that Messi would be unhappy if he is not playing as the striker. But Messi is too short! Barca need a taller striker!

Nobody is going to remember anything about the gamw other than they beat Barcelona 2 - 1. There is no chance that they will win the competition, I hope they have some success and progress further. It is good to see a different team doing well
