We have seen the movie Troy starring Brad Pitt as Achilles, Eric Bana as Hector, Dianne Kruger as Helen and Orlando Bloom as Paris. We have all been captivated by the setting, the plot and the characters ever since Greek mythology introduced the epic Iliad, which the movie has based upon, to the world. I will never ever forget this movie because this is one of the greatest movies I have seen. I wish Hollywood would remake this with new actors who will give this movie a new taste.

it is one of my favorite movie, Achilles is great,but i like Hector more. He is brave.

I agree with you that this is an excellent film, but I do not want a remake to appear. I cannot understand why the film studios keep remaking the same old mythologies time and time again. There is a wealth of fascinating stories in Greek and Roman mythology, so it is time that some of the other stories were used instead of the same ones every time.

Although "Troy" is technically not a remake, there had been a couple of movies made on this Greek epic poem. I've watched a classic one recently about Helen of Troy, and it somehow paled in comparison to the "Troy." But for me, I'd rather that they wouldn't do a remake of this movie. I mean, this movie has the workings of a classic. Doing a remake seems unnecessary. Besides, I can't see the newer actors befitting the roles that were portrayed here. Just my opinion though.

I couldn't forget Brad Pitt's nice looking bottom 
But yeah, it was a great movie. I don't think it's necessary to make a remake. they should just focus on another greek story to make a movie on.

That's one of my favorite movie. I'm captivated by their acts and the story itself. Same as "ROMEO and JULIET" of Claire Danes and Leonardo D'Caprio. I don't know but I got teary eyes while watching those movies. My heart pounds and I always wonder how Greek mythology started because of that movie.
