We got Endo about 2 yrs ago for my oldest son who was 2 at the time...He is a husky/mix and is pry the smartest and most gentle dog ive ever met. We have never had any problems with him with children or other animals...! Recently he was running around the back yard and tore his ACL...poor guy :( We got him in for surgery and get him all fixed up...Its been 3 weeks and still not putting much weight on his leg...the boys are goin nuts waiting for him to be "all better." I think we all are waiting patiently for our Endo to return to "normal." :)

I hope he will feel better soon, so your boys will be able to play together again. Isn't it great how children attach themselves to the family dogs? I think they also will become more responsible as adults. They learn to respect the others like in your case: your boys are waiting patiently for Endo to feel better, in order to play together. They understood Endo is not a toy and he has needs like any person has. I think your boys will make you very proud as they grow up.

Sorry, to hear about your poor Endo. I know what it's like to have a sick, and hurt baby. My Patches has been sick on and off since she was a kitten. It's so hard seeing them like this, I hope he has a fast and speedy recovery.

Poor Puppy. Sad to say he may not be as agile as he once was, surgeries are great but nothing is ever the same afterwards. Our lab had problems when she was carrying her litter that left her hind part damaged. She loves to play with my girls and tries so hard. She gets going and plays for short times and then I feel so bad for her as she limps around for a day or two after because she is sore
