consider owning own domain

I have several domains, I get them from GoDaddy. I haven't made sites with all of them yet, but I am planning to. It is a much better idea to have your own domain and website than to use free ones, since you'll look more professional. I don't monetize my sites, not yet anyway. But I do get referrals from people who visit my site and then sign up for the programs on there, so I guess it is making me some money.

I do have a domain, although I do not use it for any money generating venture. In fact, all I have at the moment are a few files stored there and I have not even got around to setting up a website yet. I have thought about it a few times, but there is nothing that I particularly wish to create a website about at the moment. I do use the email facilities occasionally, but only with a select few friends.
