I was delighted when my supervisor told me that I can just stay home and do my work there the other day. Imagine! I could save several amount if I would just be staying at home. I brought with me the documents I need to work on. But to my dismay, he kept on sending me messages about the things that I should have to do other than that we agreed upon. The training design, invitation, program, etc. Oh my! It's just like we were together the whole day. Well, I am not complaining about it. I like my present supervisor because he is very considerate and he is explaining to me everything that I need to know about my job. Besides, I could not find any boss who would allow me to stay at home and do my work there. Having a day in a week that I would not travel is a good thing for me. Have a nice day everyone!

That's good. Good that you get along with your supervisor. That's the nicest thing that may happen to a subordinate in order that there will be a harmonious working relationship.

Hi pahak! Yeah, we almost have the same name actually, just a difference of one letter. And he enjoy it when he introduced me to the employees during my first day. He said we are perfect duo. Oh well, I know where to place my self that is why it is not hard for me to get along with anybody. Thank you for sharing!

What a nice idea to start with.Working at home is so comfortable, thinking that no one would be around to pressure you and you can concentrate very well if you are at home.I hope our boss will also approve that kind of idea.. but i guess for us it's impossible. However i'm happy for you.good luck!

Your right. i think that our boss won't let us work all the time at home. it would be useless to have our company if we are all working at our house.Just like you i am looking forward on easy earning through net.

Just for some time maybe, it would be okay. We just don't overdo it. Oh well, who knows, I might be able to find the best strategy online which would give me an earning equivalent or better than my present job. Then, I will be staying at home and have to work here. Thank you for sharing!

hi umab! Yes, we can do it from time to time. Personally, my job requires that I am at the office because I need to attend to clients who might be needing my advice. Reports are only part of the job. Thank you for sharing!

hmm your lucky , some bosses doesn't allow that, now you can work on relax mode. But he added some extra work, may be he thought you are only working at home and there is no other work for you, or else he want you to do the extra work.

Hi prashu! Yes and I am grateful for having a supervisor like him. Although I should not let him know about it, he he. No actually, it is not an additional load, it is just an additional text messages. We already talk about it. Maybe he handled a personnel before who always forget things. He might be thinking I am like that based on his previous experience. I just have to show him my worth. Thank you for sharing!

Hi kat! There are times when we can do something in our house so instead of letting me go to the office, he just let me do it in my home. Sometimes, this kind of decision of my boss also helps. Thank you for sharing!

There is always advantages and dis-advantages working or taking work at home. Just like what you wrote here- your supervisor keep texting you with other details so it seems he/she is still around. I have same experience and oh,well...guess not much difference at all

Hi jaiho! yeah, that's one thing. But generally, I like the idea. I am spending much for transportation and it would be a big help if I would just work at home. Maybe this coming December when all our reports have been submitted already, we could at least have an off from work for several days. Thank you for sharing!

I think that it would be a wonderful thing to be able to work at home at least some of the time. However, I really do think that you have brought one of the evils to working at home to light. If you do have the opportunity to work at home, at least part time, the boss will spend a lot of time on the phone with you discussing this, that, or the other thing that needs to be done during the business day. I really do feel, however that the benefits of working at home some of the time far outnumber the negatives.

Hi doran! Hopefully, time will come that I would be able to work at home being my own boss. But as of now I know that could not be possible. Well, whenever I can read some revelation of our friends who stayed at home and earn pretty much higher than my earnings, I really believe I can do it one day. I need to learn even a thing or two in a day, I'm sure, I will be able to reach my goal in due time. Thank you for sharing!

I will be okay with a day in a week of working at home. I have actually experienced it one time in a previous job because I sprained my ankle so my mobility is pretty much limited. It isn't that bad anyway but the doctor advised me a day of rest. Since I have lots of stuff to do, I asked my assistant to email me the documents that I need for review and so far so good. That is until my boss starts to get online and started telling me stuff that he needs. But it's still fine. Nothing like working and getting paid still while sitting with my legs up in front of my computer, the TV tuned in to the programs that I like to watch, I ate home cooked lunch and I was working in my comfy shorts and shirt. I saved on fare and lunch money. Why can't we have this sked for real?

He he. This can only be true with online job. Well, on our part, we are dealing with general supervision so it is not proper that we will not be reporting on our station. Reports and other paper works are just part of the job. Well, I also dream of working at home so I could take care of my family. But I am still working on it. Thank you for sharing!

It was a win win situation. You got an opportunity to work from home as per your choice where you could save the travelling time on the other hand your employer got lot of things done by you. Bosses are like that & you would hardly get to come across a person who is totally happy about his/her office or supervisor.

Hi Ahana! Yes it is really a win win situation. Actually I am happy if I am being given a chance of not reporting to the office from time to time. Actually he knows that I know what to do because I have listed the things already and I am the only one who can do it. Oh well, maybe some boss just need attention too. Thank you for sharing!

Hi shalamae! That's true friend. I was able to save around 250 pesos ($6.25) for the fare alone. And there is no better feeling than working right inside your home. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead!
