Poetry Market

Hi Guys! I plan to publish my poetry collection soon after or before my first novel. I read people are talking about sharing it in a forum and all. Does any of you ever publish poetry book? what do you do to market it? Please share.. Thank You

congratulations hesty nice to hear it.. where we can get your first novel?? and what is the tittle of your novel? i don`t know about the poetry book but maybe you can ask too the publisher which publish your novel..

Thank you! :) The title is Diaries of Catherine and Carl. I have the page on Facebook for my book. I will first sell it online before sell it offline. I am going to do self publish.. :) So, I am going to have to do all the work myself.

Honestly, I think that the market for poetry is much more narrow than the market is for novels. For that reason, I believe that I would wait to publish the book of poetry until after you've published your novel. This would increase your personal market because you would have people that have read your novel that would like to read more that you've written and they would be likely to purchase your book of poetry. Other than that, I don't really have any tips that I could share with you.
