1-3. Anton Ferdinand scored a own goal! Lambert and Puncheon scored the other 2 goals for Southampton. These two teams are competitors for securing a position to stay in EPL. Now QPR lost again. It seems that they won 0 games in this season so far. Southampton finished 20 shots with 10 on target while QPR finished only 12. Southampton held 53% possession in the game. According to the data it seems that Southampton was the better side in the game! It was rumored that if QPR could not beat Southampton in the home game they would change their coach. Now let's see what will happen. Maybe they will invite Harry Redknapp?

Interestingly, Mark Hughes is still in his position and he said that the team should be keep stable. He still believes that he could help QPR to secure the position for the next season. QPR has to think carefully because Ukrainian Nation Team wants to sign Redknapp as their coach. I think Harry is the best candidate for QPR now.

After QPR has made several signings in the pre season, one would have expected them to avoid the great escape the previous season. But with 12 games and no victory, they will need more than Houdini's magic to survive the drop. As for Hughes, his time might be near.

I was just going to post a discussion on this topic when I saw your post. I too agree that the rope for Mark Hughes might be at an end now. They losing at home to Southampton after the summer signings they have signed is completely unacceptable. I thought a couple of weeks back they were just showing some signs of gelling as a team, but it now looks like no they are not at all gelling. This loss might just be the last straw. Cheers! Ram
