The log splitter saga comes to a close

As I shared with everyone earlier this week, I won the grand prize at a local store's grand opening. That was a huge surprise in itself! I couldn't believe it until Friday when we picked it up and brought it home. Bill told one of the neighbors yesterday that I was going to sell the splitter when I got it home. We got home around 10 pm and it was raining. Bill went out at 11 pm and covered it. Today, as we were getting ready to bring it to my place and park it the neighbor who Bill spoke to stopped by Bill's place. The next thing I knew the man told us that he wanted the splitter!!! He and a friend of his looked at the splitter this morning and decided it was more than a bargain. So, I haven't had the splitter a full 24 hours and I managed to sell it for my price!!! I am sooooooo thrilled because it takes care of Christmas and gets me a flat screen television!! I still am in a state of shock because I didn't expect that I would win something that valuable!!! I couldn't be happier though! When's the last time you had something that great happen to you? How about something that just made you really really happy? It is a time for happiness and thankfulness, let's share our happy events and things we're really thankful for. I know the one thing I am thankful for without having to think more than a nanosecond is Bill. That's why I am so happy about winning the splitter, now I can afford to buy him some really great gifts. So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for?
