Dallas. 20012 New Series (just finished showing in the UK) Series 1 Season 1

Dallas finished here a week or so back, loved it and can't wait for it to return next year, although I'm sure the next series has already been shown in the USA. If it has I don't mind if you spill the beans as to what happens.
Now.... when I was a girl I wasn't allowed to watch Dallas, mainly I think because my mum didn't like JR, as she watched and we were allowed to watch Knots Landing which was a spin off from Dallas and Dystyny, which were both fab.
I did know the general story of Dallas from talk at school and the odd show I did catch at Nanna's house and all about Bobby coming back in the shower and the shooting of JR.
A couple of questions.....
What happened to Christopher's mum... Pam? Why couldn't Bobby and Pam have there own children?
Anything else you care to add about past shows and story lines gratefully accepted.
I guessed that Rebecca and Tommy weren't truelly brother and sister, but was surprised that Rececca is Cliff Barnes daughter and how no body had ever seen her before etc?!
There was some very good twists that I didn't guess which was very good and some I guessed quite early on, but it didn't spoil it at all.
Sometimes when they bring shows back they aren't always good and I was a bit worried that Dallas this time around wouldn't hit that spot, but it did, so really pleased that I enjoyed it so very much, and almost hope that they will think about bringing the other two shows back.

The next season starts in January, I believe.
I am generally not much for soap operas, but I did get pulled into this. I'd watched the original series some, and I was curious about how the new series (or continuation, if you will) would hold up. I think that it is better than the original in many ways.
I don't think that they will revive Knots Landing, but I could see some of the characters popping up on Dallas.

One of the brothers was on Knots Landing, so he could show up on Dallas again. I know they are trying to have him appear as a guest star. Its a great idea.

I like all the Dallas series and movies Ive seen. I also saw that season here in Mexico.

I have to say that I am surprised to hear this show is still airing. I know that my grandparents used to watch it all the time. But I am interested in looking into it, because I love seeing things that remind me of my grandma. Even the story line brings me right back into the living room of my grandmas on her flower velvety couch!

The show returned on TNT in the United States and has done well. The actress that played Pam wasn't invited back to the show, so Bobby has a new wife. I wasn't surprised about Cliff's daughter, as we knew there was a child and I am glad we know know more about her. The show was't on the air for many years and I really had missed JR, Sue Ellen and Bobby. I have even been happy to see some of the other actors appear as guest stars.

I am answering straight from my e-mail, so others have probably already told you this but I can't see it. Season two of Dallas has not aired in the U.S. yet. They are still taping it right now. I just read a tweet the other day from one of the cast members on the show. I believe they will start airing the new episodes in the United States this coming January.
